Great tip on the underlay for the pointwork, Works a treat with no wastage. I'm impressed with how your liftout section stops everything and then it restarts afterwards, should help stop any unwanted accidents. Great to see some trains running too! Cheers, Michael

+Michael Henfrey Thanks Michael. Without it, there would definitely have been an "incident" some time in the future

Nice work. Good tidy work on your track laying and I like the idea of the underlay. Nice idea with the cutout on the lift up section. Keep up the good work. Steve

I just got this underlay i hope it’s as good as cork. I’m creatively bankrupt on ideas for my layout too so I’m just sprucing up my Marklin

Hi Bear, Just found your channel via Dave's trains channel. I like your style and your little asides make me laugh out loud! So I have subscribed and will be following your progress with great interest. By the way, a little tip that might save you some time. To my knowledge there has never been any point work on the real railway built with concrete sleepers, they still use wood, so you don't really need to paint the point work timbers at all...John

Nice video, does the underlay make much difference to the running noise or are you using it to aid with the ballast profile. Regards Paul

+Dunge Wood Bit of both Paul. It is nice and quiet as long as you don't use too much glue to hold it down. The inclines are a bit noisy surprisingly but I plan to fill the gaps with Plaster of Paris to stop the echoing.

I was thinking of using cork but I may see if I can get my hands on something similar. Cheers

Nice bridge. Must have cost a pretty penny.

It was about $130 from memory. I was a bit underwhelmed with it after watching Dave Howarths vids , his two bridges look much bigger. Just the camera angles and the shape of his roof I guess
