yes, you are right, you have about 30 days after the day they send the product to file a claim. HOWEVER, don't fret because if you contact their chat, they will give you an additional 30 days for trade assurance. Also, make sure you don't say anything incriminating because it will be used against you. I've purchased over $22k worth of items from alibaba from different suppliers.

Okay so I started a Shopify shop. And I wanted to do candles, however, I am not sure if o want to drop branded drop-shipping or wholeSale. Im leaning towards wholesale because that can eventually turn long term. I’m planning on doing more than candles but have different shops. MY QUESTIONS: Do I have to make my own candles in these vessels or can I buy with the candles and are their candles great quality in smell? How did you get traffic and first customer ? How did you know what kind of candle sells or where ? Is it just advertising you own items ?

Hi, you don’t have to make the candles yourself. You can always purchase candles from a candle maker. I have clients that don’t have time to make the candles themselves and they choose to buy them wholesale. It all depends on what you want. Drop shipping is an option too. You just have to lay out a business plan

The champagne has a flashed finish. The gold looks more like paint. You might find problems with either finish, but there will always be more with a solid paint. It doesnt even look very translucent compared to what you wanted. China factories aren't concerned with keeping customers happy unless its the supplier who is buying by the container per sku. Even then, it's iffy. Those of us who buy only the MOQ are of little consequence to them. Also, how does she know ur selling lots of candles? Cause ur not buying by the dozen locally. Tell him to get multiple rates. At times they tell you the first thing that comes up. I paid. $900 for express shipping.

You have to be careful with chargebacks because Ali baba can remove your account and immediately remove the trade assurance. Remember the bank has 60 days to do an investigation, and the refund they give you is only provisional, meaning they can come back and take the money back :(. Alibaba's trade assurance is for the seller, never for the buyer. Always threatened to write a bad review, because this will make them take action. When it comes to candle jars, I'm super iffy about buying from alibaba

See, this is why I'm hesitant to try Alibaba. I make candles too and I'm always looking for a good deal with great quality. They had it coming. You tried and tried and tried. Enjoy your free vessels boo lol

@@Eyeamsandee - You are 100% correct. I just got emotional and generalized. When I am in China and negotiate with them face to face I have no problems as I inspect my products right then & there, but as soon as I return stateside and I order, they (sometimes ~40%) send me substandard products. When I scream and fling profanity, they disappear for a few days, and later emerge with apologies. Very frustrating doing business with them long-distance. I love your candles by the way.
