I’m from SA and I play on 90 ping (on very good days) and 130 ping on normal days (with ExitLag on, playing on Middle East servers) and 150-170 ping on Europe

Lmao, that’s great. Yeah the input delay is bad, but if you put the vpn off like I showed in the video and connect the laptop to Ethernet (my laptop isn’t connected to Ethernet so that’s mainly why my delay was really bad) then you have the best possibility of having a bit better delay.

It’s all got to do with the Amazon servers, if there isn’t an AWS one in your region then there most probably won’t be a server coming up

Btw if you use a vpn on Fortnite, it won’t lessen your ping, unless you use something like ChubsVPN or ExitLag which I believe aren’t bannable (I’ve used them in the past)

He can just play on the other servers, there are other regions where people also dont get great ping. Tbh it was quite rare for me since the Middle East server launch to run into another South African player.

You do know that you are not playing on zero ping, you still have delay because u got to connect from South Africa to UK which is quite a distance. All that information still has to come from UK to South Africa which will still be 200 ping, maybe even more cause its cloud gaming, it just wont show in game cause the xbox is in UK. Your computer connects to xbox in UK, that xbox will play fortnite. That xbox still has to stream the gameplay to you in South Africa causing delay. Its similar to just playing fortnite locally on your PC and playing on europe servers. Ping is affected by distance. No distance was eliminated.

Yeah, I legit said there’s delay😂 it’s streaming the Xbox’s Fortnite game live to your pc over their website so that you can play on 0 ping, it wasn’t intended on being used here in SA, so obviously there’s gonna be a delay in the stream of the game.

@thezaffa7351 My guy, you can’t be serious, cloud gaming is either a pc or console being streamed from your country or a different country. That same system that’s being streamed to your Phone/PC is connected to the game server not your phone or pc, so from the Xbox to you it has nothing to do with the game servers. It’s legit like someone in the uk allowing you to control thier pc from SA through a app like teamviewer or KZbin streaming, your computer/phone that’s connected to his app has nothing to do with the game servers, but rather the control of their system that is closer to the game server thus giving you 0 ping but delay, because WiFi and streaming isn’t at the point where we can just instantly stream and control other devices through WiFi instantly.

its because you are fooled into thinking you have 0 ping.. Ping is what you see from YOUR sever to the server where the action happens.. YOU ARE CONNECTING FROM SOUTH ARICA and the VPN hides your South african thing.. so you hide the ping from yourself and nobody else lol.. but this guy telling you what to do have 0 idea.. you can't magically cut the distance between us and london and all the hops through all the isps etc and expect to actually get 0 ping.. its distance from server. you want 0 ping.. get close to a server PHYSICALLY thats the ONLY way

the vpn on pretty much is double the latency.. and vpn off will be same ping as you get usually. only thing is you are now connecting via another server to Fortnite in stead of directly.. you just fooling yourself.

The 0 ping part is all true and the game runs at 0 ping my g (maybe 2 ping like I did) and again as I said the only thing is the delayed input because of it streaming the game. It’s just so that you can feel how quick you can edit. Ig I’ll make a different video on how to play Fortnite with 0 ping and 0 delay (I have my methods)
