Thank God for modern men and equipment but most of all Modern Education and thinking. Once upon a time, it would take a whole lifetime to construct a road. Animaldrawn cart was our only wayout, are we foot it. Bicycles gave a little relief. Improvement and modernity has no end. 🇯🇲👀🙆🚛🌞💦🏠🔥🤔😅

Thanks to you my friend for this update. I'm loving how things are looking. I l like the Stonewall barriers, it may stop some Roadhogs from the beyond . Its full time for police officers to stop chasing speeding motorists, there should be a mechanism for bringing their vehicles to a complete stop. Computers are doing so many things. For proper drainage, that stretch of road should be lifted to the height of the drain pipe. In other word, those pipe should just go on top of existing road and then build the road to match the top of the drain pipe. That way they will get a proper system.

I would prefer if the road was at least 3 feet above sea level with box culverts everywhere the swamp meets the road; then run drains between the houses &; the road so water from the yards & the road goes to the box culverts and into the sea

That drain issue is a big deal. If you raise them, they won't catch most of the water coming from the swamp. When theres a flood, the people living on the swamp side of the road will say, it's the higher road that's flooding them out by blocking the water from run off.

I don't like this wall, and how far below ground is it coming from? I think we should have a reinforced waterproof concrete wall coming from out of the ground, and then put big rock behind it in the sea to stop erosion. Thst kind of wall would look more modern and stronger; this stone wall look old fashion, and I don't think it will stand up Storm Surges as well as Reinforced Concrete..,
