Ukraine bears no less blame for this war, which everyone is trying to hide. After the coup in 2014, the new government, instead of ending the conflict with the Russian Federation and ending the shelling of Donbass by 2015, violated the peaceful (signed) condition of the non-aligned status of the Ukrainian state by adopting a law on integration into NATO, placing 12 secret CIA military bases near Russia (which was confirmed by "New York the Times") and the beginning of the construction of two official naval bases belonging to the United Kingdom. In February 2022, the Russian Federation was forced to launch a special military operation to replace or force the Ukrainian government to stop regular artillery shelling of the autonomous Donbass, force Ukraine to recognize the autonomy of the separated regions of Ukraine and resume the nuclear-free non-aligned status of the Ukrainian state, which prohibits the deployment of foreign military bases and attempts to join NATO. Russian-speaking internally displaced persons are forced to learn Ukrainian and communicate in it. Any criticism of the government is expressed only in a narrow circle of communication. Any step to the left is punishable by imprisonment. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are dying in the war, and no one wants to fight anymore. Motivated, trained units have become scarce. Russian speakers are primarily sent to the zero line of defense, leaving behind protective detachments, soldiers there usually die in the first days. Poor health will no longer allow you to avoid conscription, almost everyone is recognized as fit for service. Even if you have updated your military documents and you have been declared unfit for military service, there is still a risk of being caught on the street and sent to the front or to the military enlistment office to double-check your data. Employees of the territorial recruitment center do not even hesitate to stop and deliver drivers of passenger buses and trucks to military enlistment offices, leaving passengers and valuable goods in the middle of the road. If you resist mobilization, avoid visiting the military enlistment office, the authorities will take all your property and put you in jail. Huge fines are waiting for you. I don't want to write any more about the new anti-human laws and regulations that are being created in Ukraine, trying to keep up with the trend of their tightening. Corrupt deputies from the ruling Servant of the People party become immeasurably rich, acquiring luxurious mansions both in Ukraine and abroad, they expand their business while in power. All that is required of them is to support the agitation for war. Before they joined the party, their fortune was much smaller. The number of millionaire officials is growing. Ostap Drozdov The Ukrainian journalist and patriot stated: "The model of a one-person, one-party government has taken root in our state. Unfortunately, there has been a usurpation of power. There is not a single institution that does not obey a single center of government. What difference does it make who will be appointed to this position, because all the places belong to a single decision-making center. The President calls on one phone and gives orders to law enforcement, judicial and other special bodies. Not a single minister has reported on his activities. For any country aspiring to democracy, such statements would be a real nightmare. After the organized Maidan in 2014, Ukraine lost its independence. Those present at the Maidan protests were paid an average of 400 hryvnia per day and provided with free meals, when the minimum wage at that time was 1300 hryvnia. When the enemy is close, it is too late to build defensive (fortification) structures under massive shelling, besides, funds for them can no longer be found. The deputy from the party of the president "Servant of the People" Mikola Zadorozhny, he is also the head of the commission for the construction and financing of fortifications (TSK), during his reign 20 billion hryvnias were stolen, he was again caught extorting bribes for not obstructing repair work in the Sumy region, he still remains the head of the TSK commission. Together with his fellow party members, he prepares documents for himself to travel "working visits" abroad in order to visit the best beach resorts in the world, since officially male deputies do not have the right to leave the country's border. The corrupt government of Ukraine, which has become rich, will bring the state to economic collapse and the collapse of the front line, after which it will move to live in Europe, leaving the people of the broken country to their fate. After the volume of loans taken by Ukraine exceeded $ 160 billion, the state is no longer able to even pay the interest rate on these loans. After a sharp rise in the price of utilities for electricity, heating, water and gas, the number of debtors increased 5 times, most people are unable to pay high tariffs. Debts for non-payment of utilities will provoke a new price increase and lead to a communal collapse when units of the population will be able to pay tariffs. Western partners are puzzled why 75% of military personnel return to war after rehabilitation. It turned out that the seriously wounded soldier, who was pulled from the battlefield, was given a choice by the leadership: either he himself must pay for his treatment (for which there is usually not enough money, except for days of active hostilities, the salary of the military is low), or the crippled soldier must sign an agreement to continue service after rehabilitation - only then his treatment it will be paid by the state. If a war veteran does not achieve payment of a disability pension as a combatant, then his payments for 2024 will amount to 2,520 hryvnia for the third and second groups, 2,760 for the first (61-67 dollars). And according to the new social reform, the disabled are going to be deprived of pensions, replacing them with the provision of a workplace, that is, work that may be too much for a cripple. In Russia, lump-sum payments to new contractors and conscripts were increased again in 2024 and now they range from 4,710 to 22,000 dollars (from the ruble), the Ukrainian military can only dream about this, in most cases they will receive nothing, or a lump sum payment can be up to 30,000 hryvnia (730 dollars). Not really 100%. The sad fact is that the economy and production capacity in countries like Germany, France, Uk, Sweden, Finland, Norway is enough if they would step up their support from today's 0,5% of GDP to something like 5-10%. If they would produce new gear on that level and provide training on it for Ukrainian troops it would mean thousands of top of the line artillery, armour and airplanes. That would be enough compared to today's level of drip feeding Ukraine tens of units of modern variants.

Su-35's radar may be powerful BUT it's a PESA one so it's EASY to jam and can be subjected to electronic attacks that will drive the radar totally bonkers! Then, the long range R-37M missile is NOT designed to go after jet fighters : it's too heavy for the job, it's designed to attack heavy aircraft like AWACS, air-tanker, air-cargos and, as usual, airliners !

Not sure that will happen in the foreseeable future, though, as it would be effectively inviting war with Russia. Something definitely needs to be done to prevent further belligerence by Russia, but open war between nuclear powers is not something I could support.

The F35s radar is definitely not less powerful than the su-35. It is a completely different, more modern system. It does have less range, but when you couple it with a US 5th Gen fighter, it's unrivialed.

Ideally, Ukraine will grow strong enough to oppose Russia without relying on NATO guarantees. The assistance of allies buys time for Ukraine to strengthen. NATO membership can come after Russia withdraws.

What does it mean grow strong and how should they achieve it? After the war their economy will lack 6 million of productive people which will probably never return (so maybe half of the entire workforce capacity), Russia is currently occupying regions where most of their heavy industry and natural resources are, there is very little possibility that some big investor will come in maybe next 10 years because there will be always Russian shadow flying around and investment risk will be extreme. For strong army you need a lot of money and here there will be huge problem to keep at least basic services and government running.
