Hi Kaitlyn, it's Amanda @chronicallytwisted! I've not been on social media since mid April due to my health decline,, etc so I haven't been able to keep up on how everyone is doing. Your video popped up on here & I was so happy to see you posted a new update. I couldn't be happier for you, this exciting news of yours seriously made my day! I'm so glad to hear your food introduction is going so well along w/your increased energy levels, that's amazing. Of course I spotted that ring on you but didn't read the whole title of your video & I could see you were glowing so I knew it had to be fabulous news for you. I have always dated w/intention too, as a large portion of that comes from my faith & values. I haven't dated in forever but it's just bc I haven't met that special someone but I firmly believe that it's all in Gods timing & it gives me hope that I'll find what you have too. You just look so happy & healthy, congrats! Much love to you & Sassy, have fun wedding planning...

Were you ever able to get a diagnosis for your GI?

Not yet. I am working with a new Functional Medicine Doctor now, so we’re hoping to find something through her.

@@quirkhouse9818 I'm sorry you haven't found what is wrong. I was just diagnosed last year but had problems all my life. I mentioned MCAS in another comment but mine presented purely GI up until 2 years ago. Sometimes it just takes time for the disease to advance enough to diagnose. A lot of the comments you have made align with MCAS though. Its often missed because doctors will only test for one mast cell disorder, mastocytosis, but MCAS is actually more common. I could be totally wrong and just projecting but honestly my MCAS would have taken my life if I wasn't able to intervene so sorry if this is annoying. You probably get stuff like this all the time.

No, thanks so much for sharing!! It is encouraging (in a way) to hear stories like this, though I’m sorry you have to deal with this as well. The bulk of my symptoms stem from GI as well, and most of my fatigue is directly linked eating food, which is why my tube helps so much (at the time of this video, I was in somewhat of a remission). I have tried some treatment for mast cell, just Incase. But I either couldn’t tolerate it or it didn’t do anything to help. But it’s definitely not out of the question. 💛
