It's okay. Over the last year I thought I am INFP, INTJ, INFJ, INTJ and now I think I am an INFP. This time I think it's right. For the most time I didn't know about cognitive functions and after researching it I came to understand the personalities better. It's cool that you made a video to say you were mistyped, I don't think most people would have done this. 😊

@@ISTPRobin they are very different Fi is about authenticity and it's correlated with valuing and defending the unique exeperience of oneself and others, the unique feelings but with a "I'm cool exeprience". And I described ISFP here. Ti is about finding solutions for problems and it doesn't really matter how you solve it as long as it works. (Or how bad it looks). ISTP like to find practical solutions and their thinking is clear of "what ifs". They do what they have to do. (example James Bond, the guy from Dirty Dancing) "I see a problem, I search for a fast solution that will work". And they do come up with solutions. They are not conflicted by feelings. INTPs are not practical. They would get lost in "what ifs" and details. They would still come with solutions but the difference is that they are more prone to failure. More grandious ideas, but less practical. They are more ingenious and more academically inclined. (Examples Kakashi, Dipper from Gravity Falls, Velma from Scooby Doo) INFJs - They would come up with theories about anything but they like to talk about people, injustice, faith, life. Are those theories based on their VAST experience? Nope. They read and observe because they are easily triggered by external stimuli. They value the feelings of others but not as something unique, more like "does what this person feels aligns with what others feel? And how I can make everyone feel ok?". If an individual disrupts the harmony constantly they would think of them as a nuissance/egoistical at some point. On that blog is a guide for self-typing

@@MichaelSimone Mainly through the INFP subreddit. I started forming question marks and having doubts when the INFP's there were expressing their love of affection and calling themselves 'romantics'. Have no problem with it but its just not me. Then I had a very unofficial typing session and within a few questions I was typed as an INTP. Turns out the reason why I thought I was an F rather than a T was because of the N in both types. I mistook the gut feeling and intuition I had as feelings and replaced the T with F 😅 Thanks for the reply! Looking forward to more content from you :)

It's great that you found your type :) I was noticing that you didn't seem to be a very strong feeler, but I thought it was just that you were more in the middle of the feeling-thinking continuum, which you probably are since you got confused. I'm an INFP with strong feeling, so I thought it was interesting when you said that you didn't feel you were an INFJ because you didn't feel other people's emotions. I as an INFP with strong feeling, do actually feel other people's emotions. For example my emotions change based on my husband's. Also when I'm at my parents' house I can feel the anxiety and depression in the walls, so I usually avoid going there. For me it was pretty clear that I'm a feeler and not a thinker even though I'm attracted to thinking. I want to be a more structured person but I always fail. Also I cry all the time and can suddenly feel really sad for no reason. My husband is an INTJ, I think, and he doesn't believe me when I say I don't know why I'm sad, so I always have to make up a random reason for him to not think I'm avoiding talking about it. It's quite frustrating. Anyway my biggest question with MBTI was whether or not I was an INFP or INFJ and I got sure when I read about the functions. INFP has Te and INFJ has Ti as one of their functions I'm a collector of information, not a creator. I know this, I cannot create new knowledge, I always use things I have read or heard. My husband on the other hand definitely uses Ti often, so that's why I think he's INTJ, also that reaction he has that I described above, is a very J-thing to do, I think. Anyway, I watched your channel because you were the only KZbinr I found who was an INFP talking about being an INFP. I'm glad you found your type anyway. Though maybe we take things a bit too seriously, after all you can't really put people in 16 boxes, it will always be a question of which one you feel is more like yourself. Everything about the type won't fit 100 % for anyone. Anyway, these are just my two cents, I'm not an MBTI expert, so feel free to tell me if I'm wrong about my observations.
@MichaelSimone
@MichaelSimone 4 жыл бұрын
Yes as you said I really felt at the middle of the feeling-thinking continuum. But when I reflect back on my teen years, I was clearly a dominant thinker. Another thing that got me conviced that I was INFP is that when I feel something, it's pretty intense, and it makes me happy to notice a feeling and to pretend that I'm good at it. But the truth is that I'm happy because it's not natural for me. On the opposite, when I'm using Ti for analyzing, it's so natural that if someone is telling me for example "you're so good you found the problem on my computer in 2 sec", I would say "Meh, whatever, it's easy for me". I don't know if you know what I mean ^^ When you said that you're attracted to thinking, it totally makes sense, we are attracted by our inferior function, Te in your case, and it's exactly that: wanting to be more structured but struggling ^^ I also from time to time cry without any reason, for example in front of a TV show where it can be slightly sad, it will a cue for me, and I don't even know why I'm crying ahah You seem to be more INFP indeed. And yes as you said we might be taking things a bit too seriously ahah. Thank you for your input, I think it's pretty on point! Feel free to stay around the channel, even if you're an INFP, I will for sure talk about things that INxP can relate too!

*LONG COMMENT* Hey dude, that’s awesome you’re sure about your type now. I’ve been into typology for a year now (started as an INFP) and went all over the map. I’ve been between so many sessions. Dozens and dozens with all kinds of people and considered new types every day. I ended up getting typed as almost everything. I’m a highly indecisive person in general so I kept spinning and spinning. I’m probably just going to be inconclusive. Decisions are hard, cognitive functions can go so many ways and I’ve never been even close to being sure about my type, I’ve had days I changed it like 10 times a day 😂😂😂 like i said, I asked soooo many people and gathered so many different opinions of my type to work with. props to you! It’s hard to “know” which one it is when you can be any other type. I see typology sort of as an interpretation game. What I mean by that is one PEESON will say you’re one type, another will think something else, and even just as an individual, I can see my functions through kany perspectives. But then again isnt life jusr a game of interpretations? We all have different takes on everything and our own way of seeing it and so the same thing can be seen in an infinite amount of ways. That’s probably why you feel more like an intp and there people commenting who think you’re an infp and similarly on other mbti youtubers’ channels, they say they’re one type and the comments section is filled with so many other types. Who knows more about type? Who has the correct answer? Is it the person? Cause the person knows themselves best, right? But what if they misinterpret the functions? Everyone gets their knowledge about typologt from different sources and it’s coated by their own individual perspectives. There are so many ways to look at typology. Or maybe I just don’t like sticking to decisions. This is where all the confusion comes in. I guess I just live in constant indecision. I still love typology and personality psychology in general. It’s lots of fun and very intriguing. When you said it’s tiring not knowing for sure LOL I’m used to it 😂😂😂 ans yes, it can feel like a box sometimes cause things can always deviate Ive also introspected myself about my type and what feels like it’s really me. But nonetheless something in my brain keeps telling me “everything is not what it seems, how can you know?” And it’s a cycle. So yeah lol. I don’t know what I am or if I’m mistyped cause I don’t actually know what I am in the first place Anwyay I love your video and listening to you talk about your interpretation on the functions and about how you became more confident about your type! Looking forward to your future videos 😎

Thanks man!! You summed it up really well ahah. It's like it's all subject to interpretation, so I feel there is no way of "knowing for sure". I KNEW IT but you have truly invaluable insights and have actually helped me realize that I'm also INTP rather than INFP. Watching your other videos and seeing what a hard time you also had with typing yourself plus your "very stereotypical INTP" surface level demeanor will help others like us too. One other INTP youtuber said we not only have resting bitch face, but resting bitch eyes which is pretty accurate. I look mean apparently but that's not me at all. I'm an INTP 4w5 just in case that's at all relevant or maybe helps someone else.. 😁 In my case 4 is slightly dominant over 5, I'm a lifelong music lover and play a few instruments decently enough, love to read, etc. Oh and my Ti and Fi are about the same, with Ti dominating so both are my primary functions if that's even accepted as a possibility. I don't see why not, people are complicated like that. Part of what's funny about us mistyping as INFPs is that it should have been obvious since we overthink shit and get stuck in those Ti Ne "loops." My rabbit holes have rabbit holes lol and we all seem to enjoy the intellectual challenge of deconstructing and poking holes in our own beliefs as well as those of others (in a friendly debate ofc) That being said, I can be a shit head to someone if they're needlessly callous and contrarian just for the sake of it. I'm still an edgelord but have matured a lot since my 20s.. hey at least this edgelord is self aware. Part of the reason I didn't think I'm INTP is because, while I'm definitely a strange person, it's statistically unlikely since I'm also female. That and my enneagram is most commonly found in INFPs and ISFPs, both of which I have gotten on different tests. INTP should have been a no brainer lol.. I find that hilarious for some reason. Can't see the forest for the trees, or the moonrocks for some of us.. We do have a tendency to get stuck up our own asses at times, to the point of absurdity. Just goes to show that, while it is important to consider, you can't reliably determine a person's cognitive functions through analyzing their behaviors. That's a rookie mistake for those of us who are fascinated with MBTI and other methods of understanding humans and why we do the things we do. Perhaps this will also help some other INTPs who are somewhat hard to place. This post is a cohesive mess. Ah well you get the gist .. 🤭

I watched some of your videos to learn more about the infp to see if I resonated with any of it. I consider myself an INTP but with the T and F very close. Because sometimes when I take the test I am INFP and others INTP. I too went to engineering school, but ended up in IT. I think the MBTI is just a theoretical model and we should not get too hung up on it. In reality I think we are much more complex. And we are also in many ways unique. We should not try to fit ourselves into a particular model but just be ourselves and see if the model is correct. I bet it won't always be.

Thank you for this video, it clarified a lot of things for me. I'm an INFP without a doubt and 4 years ago I started university, choosing physics as my major. All my life I have been highly emotional, always in my head imagining things, loving animals and nature.. and in highschool I had a rebelious phase, i became an atheist and very interested in astrophysics. Since I was very good at math and it came easy for me, I decided I want to be a physicist. But the thing is, in highschool I was very depressed and unhealthy so I wasn't in touch with myself and who I am. That lead to 3 VERY hard years in university. Although I still love physics and always will, I see now that this life is not for me. I'm too emotional and critique myself for being in my own head while i have to study, and that leads to depression and insomnia. So I'm stuck here because I was at one point in my life attracted to the technical stuff and that lead me to the wrong path. Or maybe, it is the right path, but I'll just have it 10 times worse then some people lol. But at the end of last year I decided to change my major into geophysics which is more in line with my love for nature, and now i'm 10 times more happier and healthier. And I got into personality stuff so I know more about myself now. I hope I'll have my degree in geophysics and find a good job where I won't be overworked because I see that is not for me.. I guess INFP's can do science and some of them have a lot of love for science like me, but there is a huge possibility we will feel drained eventually.

@@parus_1671 I still struggle with self doubt and often wonder whether I'm on the right path so I don't have a good advice for you. I guess we just have to let things be and see where life takes us. What also helped me understand myself and made me a healthier person was thinking about me as a child, when I was happy and true to myself. I remembered how much I loved nature, animals, geology.. and I forgot how much I loved all those things because I was depressed for so long. And that's why I changed my major to something related to earth and nature, and it instantly made me happier. That's why I think big life decisions (like choosing your major) should only be done when we are mentally healthy and aware what kind od person we are. Oh, and I also got INFJ on a test once and it made me so confused haha, I don't know why INFP's often get INFJ on a test.. I think it could be because I'm a 4w5 on a enneagram and that is what a lot of INFJ's are.. maybe that's also your problem in figuring out your personality type

@@yenneferL98 thanks for the reply! it's ok if you don't have any advice haha, i just felt a weird need to share my experience. it's cool you mention animals and geology, i was really into those things as a child as well! around highschool i really started to consider studying astronomy/astrophysics too (although i had had that interest for a long time)... now i think such a hard and "number-based" science might not be for me. on the other hand, i've been interested in a ton of other things as well... but that is really a good point of view, thinking about what you enjoyed as a kid. right now i feel like i wouldn't want to study, say, animals, on a college/uni level, but who knows... that could really help, tapping into what's important for me and finding those things again. sorry for writing such a novel but about the type confusion, i test as an infj pretty much always, but feel like infp resonates just as much if not more in certain regards. even looking at the cognitive functions - i feel like i have both strong Ni and Ne, whereas Se and Te are my weakest functions. my enneagram is somewhere in the 4-5-6 axis, could well be 4w5. BUT as you said, whatever the problems, sometimes trying to let things just be can be very helpful. although _very_ difficult for me at least lol

L2198, I can absolutely relate, you described it perfectly. I had the same thought about being a therapist: I could probably make it my career, but I will struggle much more than others. It's now clear, but as an INTP, I struggle with advice on F matters. So having to deal with it everyday is very draining for me ahah. As you said, being attracted by my inferior function (feeling for me, thinking for you), led me to the wrong path as well. Especially because I thought that the Thinking careers failed me, because I was a mechanical engineer and I quit. But the reasons I quit were because I was not valuated, not because I didn't enjoy solving problems. As you said "being in my own head while I have to study" is too much for you. For me it's the opposite, I loose track of time and I really enjoy it. Thank you for sharing really :)

@ParusCaeruleus_ I know what you mean. I experienced the same, and I still do from time to time. Choosing the right path is very important for xNxP types. So don't feel stupid for stressing over that! The main thing that helped me is that instead of trying to figure out everything in my head, I had to experiment and experience things to get feedback and to progress. For instance, I thought being a therapist would be great. But it's not until I tried that I realized it was not for me. So one can argue that I lost time and money, but what I've gained really is the knowledge that I can remove an option from my list, so my path is getting clearer and clearer. Same for being a software engineer. I was stuck trying to imagine if I would like it or not. But I realized I liked it when I really started to code and do it. So I'd say don't be afraid to try things and experiment! We need it to make a decision :)

This video was actually one of the most helpful I’ve encountered that helped confirm that I’m an INFP. I also used to pursue a career in mental health (clinical psychology) but got severely burned out before finishing grad school. While I did enjoy the science and the academic side of it, I truly felt energized, in my flow, and on my Purpose doing individual and family psychotherapy. After my therapy placements, I had a year of doing psych testing. While this was neat and cool, it wasn’t my passion, and by the time I started plodding through my dissertation I got severely burned out-to the point that I dropped out of my program. Thanks to this video, now I know why. As you said, doing therapy requires intensive Feeling work, and therapy provides a wonderful interpersonal space for Fi-Ne to do their thing. Psychological testing with clients and clinical research rely more on Te and Ti, which, while I was more than competent in and had a pet fascination with, was extremely draining on a soul level. I’m wanting to get back into the mental health field, and the fact that it is the desire for doing therapy and using individual-level Feeling and not so much the Thinking involved in other aspects of the practice of professional psychology which confirms that I am indeed an INFP. Thank you for this video! Your sharing of your research and synthesis in this matter helped me understand myself and my past experience better, and helped me confirm the direction I want to take in the future. This has been a huge help and validation for me. You’ve made a difference in my life. Please keep making these kind of videos! (Edited to correct typographical errors.)

Hey Michael Just subscribed to your channel. Just stumbled in when you doubted your own personellity type......Well first of all you are a honest Nice Guy who wants to do the best hè can. The fact you are so cautious about mistiping and consulting external resources means You are using your Ne..Maybe your love towards science does indicate you are AN INTP. As for me An middle aged man, regret that I never heared about MBTI and all of that system 30 years BEFORE. Very interesting of how all types interact with each other. As for me I guess I am an INFP....Can relate to most, 90% of situations you described. But i Will look at your next update. Hope to see you soon Michael, love to hear from your next video's..Gr Hans

lol well crap. I literally just commented on the video you're discussing (commenting here now before this video is even over), and I said exactly what you mentioned other comments did as well. I guess I'll watch this one, and your correction: 18 signs video to reassess. I suspect at this point though that there seems to be quite a bit of confusion/overlap between certain personality types. At any rate, there's no need to feel down about mistakes you feel you've made, I still found your previous video quite helpful, and I do look forward to seeing more of your content. I've just subscribed.

I watched the 18 signs of infp, because even though I'm typed as intp I always doubt it and thought maybe I'm in fact an infp. what was said in that video matched almost perfectly to myself, but I had a thought that those things could also be intp traits and wondered if maybe he was also a mystyped intp. I'm glad I checked out the channel and saw this update, I wont doubt that I'm an intp anymore after this, at least for while.

As an INFP I am a thinker more in the sense of reflecting (philosophically). I'm horrible with logic, math, and puzzles. (I don't enjoy them either) I am trying to study electronics but the math is very difficult..I don't enjoy it, yet I find the theory interesting. Any other INFPs relate? I would rather be creating something than sitting and doing math equations and formulas. Just seems like a waste of time. Do INTPs enjoy doing math?

Hi I am happy for your return ! I was myself in a little meltdown for a short time, thinking beeing Infj.. but no, finally still believing that I am an Infp. It’s doesn’t mean that is 100% true and sure.. so I will be interested to know more about Mbti and follow your thoughts in general 😉 By having a sister Intp, I think we have similarities and compatibility’s that make us understand the other easier than others types. Also she complete me by being more logical and organized, a little too black or white and killing my dreams for my taste lol Maybe this can be related to completely others reasons than profil types 🤔 or not 😜 Thank you for your sharing and your integrity ❤️

I have just done a online MBTI test and it came back with INFP-T. But.... is this just a generalization !?!? IMHO Life itself has a huge impact on peoples personality's, and how we do or do not react to certain topics, situations and problems. I am happy with the INFP-T "generalisation". but I don't think the MIND is that easy to classify in such a black and white way. Thanks for the video, now going to watch another ! Edit: Would anyone agree that Men in general are more likely to keep there emotions/feelings in check, but this does not mean that its not a driving force for our actions..

Last week, my boyfriend answered my mibt personality test as if he is me and it turned out to be INTP-T but I was an INFP-T. There is really a fine line between the two I think. @MichaelSimone
@MichaelSimone 4 жыл бұрын
Yes there is a fine line because we share Ne and Si. Also, Ti and Fi are both judging functions, and both of them are responsible for navigating decisions and decide on what's important to us. It's just that INTP do so by what makes sense, and INFP do so by asking "what feels right". Being emotional could be a good indicator indeed, and for being a civil engineer, what exactly is bothering you? When I was a mechanical engineer, it bothered me as well, but it was because of the working conditions, not the work itself.

Hello! I know you may not want to hear this at all, after you've went through all that effort trying to discover your true type, but I would like to ask you to please at least read this and consider what I am saying: I think you're an INFP. INTPs have Ti as their primary function, which means they use their OWN thinking, or logic. To put it bluntly, you do not use logic at all; you glean all of your information and conclusions from various EXTERNAL sources that you believe have credentials (such as the CNOTE typing and all the books you have read). Relying on credentials to prove the validity of something is very a Te thing to do, ESPECIALLY a Te inferior thing, since Te inferiors have absolutely no logic at all. (And by the way, I'm not saying having no logic is a bad thing at all. INFPs instead have rationale, or Te. I am at all not calling INFPs dumb; I am an INFP myself, and believe INFPs can become very very intelligent, but we do so by collecting EXTERNAL points of reference with our Te.) Sure, INTPs may do research, but researching extensively is primarily an INFP thing because our Te is so low that we need to intake lots and lots of different sources and weigh them against each other in order to come to a conclusion that is the most truthful. INFPs are never truly able to figure things out through a purely logical process (like INTPs would do)-INFPs come to conclusions by weighing every piece of information against every other piece of information we have gathered or already have stored in our head. In this video, you do not demonstrate ant Ti; you cite all of your lines of thinking from external sources, and you never once say any logical statements about why you think the different pieces of info are factual (a logical statement would be something like "if this is true, then that true", or "if this occurs, then logically that would occur"...). You are consistently weighing the sources and comparing and contrasting them with each other. However, what IS evident in this video is your Fi. You say, "I was feeling worse and worse because I was helping people figure out their types but I was not even sure I was an INFP myself". This is evidence of INTROVERTED feeling-you yourself are feeling worse and worse. If you were an Fe user, especially an Fe inferior user like an INTP, you would care about what others feel, and not so much how you personally feel. If you were an INTP, you would be happy that you are helping others, that you are making OTHERS FEEL better. But instead, you have your own moral judgment, your own personal feelings about it, in which you are feeling really bad. As for your arguments that you enjoy STEM subjects, the "thinking territory", or enjoying analyzing stuff, this does not validate that you are an INTPs, because INFPs can definitely be into STEM. There is a large misconception that INFPs are these 'artist' types of people who are always into humanities or any area involving freedom of expression/freedom of creation, which may be true in a lot of cases but not always. There are a lot of INFP scientists and also researchers who are super well-versed in academia. Your favoritism for engineering could stem from your Si. Especially since Si your third function, that means you CRAVE comfort, which means you always prefer to stick to what you know and what you're used to. You're obviously used to engineering, so doing the psychology stuff probably required you to step out of your comfort a little bit, which may have resulted in you not having as good of an experience with psychology than with engineering. (I may be making a few assumptions here, but I have Si as a third function too so I'm making predictions based on my own experiences). I hope you will consider my viewpoint. And now, since I know you will want me to cite my source, to prove the validity of my word, I will: this information comes from CS. Joseph, a jungian psychology youtuber. His lectures on personality type are the most accurate ones I've seen. I highly suggest you watch his video titled "Who are the INFPs?" if you want to understand the type better (or if you want, you can instead watch "Who are the INTPs?" if you're truly convinced you are one, and see if it truly resonates.)
@MichaelSimone
@MichaelSimone 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for your opinion and for saying it no matter what. I'm willing to hear it, because in the end I want to find the correct answer so don't worry it can do no harm :) Basically, everything you said makes sense, and could be true. You made me look at what I concluded again with new eyes. I'll try to explain my viewpoint as well: For external sources of information, I would rather say that it was my Ne at use, not my Te. Because looking for sources with credentials was not my main concern. My main concern was to find sources that are coherent and that make sense, that don't contradict themselves. Then you say that I don't demonstrate any Ti in the video, but that I cite Te sources. The thing is that my Ti is introverted. So it happens inside of me, I don't present in the video the logical process with which I arrived at the conclusion that I was actually an INTP. But if I have to describe why I got doubt in the first place, it was because of something like: someone said the video I made about 18 signs you're an INFP, can mostly apply to INTP as well. I checked it, and I occurs that it was true. So the reasoning was: if that's true, then it means that I could be an INFP OR an INTP, therefore I'm not sure yet of my type. And then I proceeded with doing more research to understand the issue. And because I wanted to give accurate information, this time I needed an external source of validation, someone more experienced than I was, so it was simply the most logical thing to do. When you say that my Fi is evident when I say that I was feeling worse and worse. That's true, but I was feeling bad because I would imagine all my viewers getting incomplete information, and thus, instead of helping them, doing the opposite. So that could be Fe at stake here as well. Your argument about Si and being comfortable in a field that I know, thus returning to engineering is valid. You have a point there. But I really feel that it's not completely the case here, because I'm still taking a new path. Engineering yes, but in a new field, with new training, new city and all. I think it was more because I realized that doing Feeling work all day long everyday was too much. I watched the videos from CS joseph (not all of it yet), interesting indeed, thanks. It will help gain more clarity! Anyway thanks for your input and for being here :)

Where INFPs have Te as their inferior, they can do math, engineering, science but it is a struggle and doesn't come easy. They may be attracted to these subjects to unconsciously develop the inferior function. I would be surprised to find an INFP taking a technical or STEM based degree, but it is not unknown. This is probably what would set you apart from an INFP, but perhaps also INFPs are very much able to read people. INTPs can do it, but it comes less naturally. Two members of my family are INTPs and generally they've been alot more proficient with technical sides. We're all very imaginative and creative though!

I am an INFP, and all my life I was a great student in sciences, maths and physics. And I was attracted ro sciences jobs or business. Even law.. but then I got to my adolescence and I realised all I had been wanting was not my true self. I started playing guitar and singing, and found my passion. If I spent too much time on maths or sciences, i would be completely drained, and in college it showed, got into a major depression. I quit. Now I work at a supermarket, but I am way happier!! 😊😊😊 even at the supermarket I tend to be very ambicious and wanting to get things done (developping my inferior Te) but I end up feeling drained. With quarentine I found creativity again, and true happiness.. by the way, follow my youtube channel 😄😄😄

i have two close people who are both infps and engineers. the other does struggle in the field a bit, not because she wasn’t skilled enough, but maybe because the job is not ”infp” enough if that makes any sense :D the other on the other hand has had a long good career and really likes what he does. idk, it probably has a lot to do with personality differences even within the same type, and also the job one has.

I love MBTI, but I also think we should take career advice provided by a 12 minute personality test with a grain of salt. We all have our own preferences and interests and we can achieve a lot if we put our minds to it and want it enough, even if some kind of model says we're better off doing something else. :)

Fe and Fi are completely different... I think if you want to differ both of INTP or INFP, you shall reflect on how you derive your value. Is it moral based (Fi) or ethics based (Fe). Fi tends to be more moody than Fe (especially if you re Fe is on the bottom of the cognitive function stack)
@MichaelSimone
@MichaelSimone 4 жыл бұрын
How would you define moral vs ethics then?
@neptunejoo
@neptunejoo 4 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelSimone personally I think, Fe users usually derive external values like justice or fairness, where the society they live in. But Fi users tend to have internal values that's why you can see two INFPs with two different moral values. In my point of view therefore, Ethics is external and Morality is internal. Let's have say more concrete example I am an Fe user if a cat begs me to kill it because it suffers I probably will kill it to diminish its suffering But an Fi user may refuse to kill the cat because it doesn't hold his moral standard. If Fi user kills a cat, it's because they want it to not because the cat asks them to... That's why you often see Fi users are selfish, because everything they do must be derived from internal force. And you often see Fe users superficial and fake.
