That is 100% correct. This setup is SPECIFICALLY for either the SFHSS version of the M1 or using the SFHSS satellite. By going indepth with the setup my hope is people can learn what he is actually doing and they'll be able to grow to understand how to make it work with their intended setups.

Yes. Mine doesn’t fly stable in stabilized mode. It tilts to the side. 🤔

Just wondering if Jonas is using a Mode 1 transmitter? Thinking he has Hold set on the SH temporary switch on my Mode 2 TX16s. Maybe if he is using Mode 1, SH is not a temporary switch? I mean I want the Hold to hold, not release when I let go of the switch.

Mode 2, he moved the switches physically on the transmitter. That's why he made it so it's easy to change the switch assignments in this file.

I think I found a small bug in the Config-File: Curve "FM1" (low rpm) ist set to -35, but I think it should be -10 (for 45% throttle)?

HOW DO YOU GET "0" PITCH AT CENTER STICK? ALSO THE SERVO ARMS ARE NOT LEVEL AT CENTER STICK ...THE GEOMETRY IS ALL WRONG ON THE HELI...SO ANY SUGGESTION? Negative pitch is MUCH slower because of the servo arm position at center stick ..another issue which is hard to fix in pitch curves

I'm using this file on the M2- have located the 2 switches to arm the motor and verified throttle signal is output on my monitor- but it won't spin up- wierd- SOLVED- needed to reverse output on throttle channel! all servos working correctly looks like I just need to steel my nerves now and FLY frsky sbus with remote rx

I added the rescue switch onto my M2 model. I also wanted to add the stability mode switch as well, but in my out puts it is acting backwards. Is there a video for this?

A question: When using my TX16S Tx, what is the relationship between the M1/M2 model file and using it to fly the actual heli, and when flying the M2 heli within AccuRC? In other words, with my TX16S as the joystick for AccuRC, is the heli within AccuRC being controlled by the TX16S M1/M2 model file of rates and expo or is it being controlled by an internal AccuRC model file that has its own established rates and expo? My reason for asking is to know if I will or will not need to replicate the adjustments that I make to my TX16S M1/M2 model file (thank you for these!) also within the AccuRC M2 model.

I want to start using Jonas’s model for my M1 however my momentary switch is still SH. Is the only place I need to change switch selection in the Logical switch page, swamping SH for SF and SF for SH, or is the some place else I need to fix?

Just got the profile on my tx16s. I can't figure out what SA button does, he says it's a safety but what does it do? Throttle hold cuts the throttle, but I can't see what SA does. Nice profile from what I can see.

Awesome vid, love it! I've got a problem with mine though...i put the Jonas' set up on my m2 v2 but the pitch doesn't work correctly. It goes the wrong direction? i've tried reverse and everything i between but i can't get the collective to go the right direction. Any chance you may be able to help? :)

Hey BUDDYRC! Great channel I definitely owe you for helping me almost get running on my TX16S & SHFSS M1. I’m wondering if you have a recommendation for a model file for the M1 for beginners or if I should start flying with Jonas file with stability mode on? The only video you haven’t made which I wish you did would be start to finish setup with M1 SHFSS for “dummies”. Overall I learned a ton from your videos and I wish I purchased my M1 from you. Now I know where to get parts from when I crash lol. Please advise on what you think is a good setup to start with either Jonas with stability or if you have a file for something more simple, thanks in advance!

Hi TJ, First let me thank you a lot for your videos, I'm starting with helicopters after a lot of RC plane and your videos are so helpfull! I bought an M2 V2, and applied all of Jonas tips (thank you to him too), I can't wait to see how it flies now ! I have a question (wich might be stupid) : how do you set the maximum angle of pitch? I tought it was with the radio, just as dual rates, but Jonas talks about running 16° (was 14° before) for max pitch angle, without changing the pitch curve (still -100/+100). Is it in the mix page? I don't think so, because I saw nothing in the file you shared about it! So is it directly set with the OMPHobby controller? Anyway thanks a lot for the help and your great videos wich help a lot abroad too ;) +1 subscriber from France !

Max pitch angle is set in the flight controller. If you then want to have less pitch in some flight modes you need to use different pitch curves with values of less than 100% to reduce the pitch.

Omp protocol can't do this quite as well as the other due to fixed throttle and pitch curves I believe

Hey all, great video. Added topic for this maybe could touch on Channel Mapping. My taranis setting is TAER with jp4in1se module with TAER version. For the life of me I can't get this to work unless I download module AETR Version and change my radios default to AETR. Then all works great. Just can't fly my other planes without switching everything back. Is anyone else having this issue?

I am using the Futaba/SFHSS protocol in my M2. I am very interested in the stabilization mode to help facilitate in my training and learning curve to help mitigate a potential crash.
