So unless we getting another DLC Story for Tekken 8 am predicting Tekken 9 is gonna be Heihachi & Reina Vs Jin Kazama & Kazuya and in the Tekken 9 DLC story mode Reina double crosses Heihachi takes over the Mishima zaibatsu throws Heihachi into a black hole in space cause she smarter than the Average Mishima . Jin kazama goes missing and Kazuya goes on a journey with a returning Angel to become a good guy . Then in Tekken 10 its gonna Be Devil Reina vs Angel Kazuya and in the DLC for Tekken 10 Jin kazama and His mother return to face a returning amped up Orgre 😅😅

Tekken 6 was the death of story integrity bc they assasinated jin's character. Tekken 7 buried it by retconning heihachi's evilness and saying oh he just wanted to destroy the devil gene. Tekken 8 became anime garbage with literaly childlike writing especially this dlc

This dlc story is bad, it makes mk1 dlc story look better lol. At least one is free and the other is $50. Didn’t mind playing either of them and I have both games.

Now I know why I stopped playing Tekken x years ago. Mortal Kombat has a much better story than Tekken. Either way, I feel sorry for Lidka because I thought she would have a better introduction to the game, but here she got a real kick from the developers. Not only do players consider Reina to be the better version of Lidka, but she also appeared for the second time as an add-on to the game. On top of that, she had to wait for another DLC to appear in the story. Really poor introduction of this character and marketing around her. The story would have been much better if they introduced a new rivalry between these two characters, like Lidka and Reina, instead of bringing Heihachi back to life. And what do we have? Back to square one, where the story revolves around the same characters again. I know it's a Japanese game, so the other characters are just add-ons, but the developers could have done a better job with the story and Mishima's return, because it looks really amateurish, even childish. Just because it is a game genre that focuses on combat and competition between players does not mean that the level of story has to be low in Tekken. And finally, I don't know why Yoshimitsu is in this story if he's so marginally treated. They could have just as easily cut him out and put a random soldier in his place. Well, I'm disappointed with the plot. 😮‍💨

Mortal Kombat stories are trash now. 3d era stories are better. I love Deadly Alliance and Deception stories. They were Best story telling of fighting game

Yeah Mortal Kombat is the only fighting game series that has an actual legit story, Tekken story sucks so bad, since Tekken 5 it was bad. And Yoshimitsu is my favorite character from both Soul Calibur and Tekken, but even though he finally got an actual role in the story I just couldn't get invested since the overall story of Tekken is so meaningless now

This story was ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! Even though my favorite Tekken character, Yoshimitsu, actually gets a role in the story (finally) I just couldn't get attached to him in the story since the Tekken lore doesn't mean anything anymore. This joke of a story was horrible! It's official, MORTAL KOMBAT IS THE ONLY FIGHTING GAME THAT MATTERS, BOTH STORY AND OVERALL!

@@SmashingTV9 The voice is fine but yes his usage in the cutscene was REALLY bad. And what's worse that this is better than how he was done in either Tekken 6 or Tekken 7. I tell ya, Tekken 5 was the last truly great Tekken game, both in story and overall.

@@SmashingTV9 Yoshi in Tekken 4 was great but so he was in Tekken 5. Then it started to go downhill for Yoshi with Tekken 6, with Tekken 8 being just the latest downward step, although to be fair his non-canon ending in Tekken 8 is the best in the whole game, shame it's not canon like what happens in the canon story.

@@RoyArkon yoshi was always my side main from all mishimas... he needs to be more popularity if you want good story with him.... namco doesn't care about others as much as mishimas and NOW they always make story longer by nothing dies here lol. Heihachi should stay dead but this free DLC was OK. i hope they make more story ever year until TEKKEN 9. with other cast.

@@Blade_runner-dh4dw Yoshi is super popular, Bamco aren't treating him badly because of lack of popularity, they just have favoritism towards the Mishimas. Honestly at this point Tekken can re-brand itself as a single player action game with just the Mishimas and a couple of other chars and it would still be the same, and even then it's still not gonna help the quality of the story, because the story right now in Tekken sucks, including this DLC.
