Lie detectors are inadmissible in court and unfortunately the DNA came back inconclusive. If he was already charged and found not guilty it’s unlikely they’ll charge him again with these results. However it sounds like they just didn’t have enough evidence to charge him in the first place, so what they can do is take the results to the police and it may convince the prosecutor to go forward with charges. If he doesn’t accept a plea deal first, all it will take is getting his ass on a court room in front of the jury, and anyone with a brain can see he’s guilty and they’ll get a conviction.

They can't. They already did. Double jeopardy applies. Can't be tried twice for the same crime. He got away with it. Only reason came back on the show is that he knew it wouldn't matter
