at times we r short of words to express ourselves, still my heart felt gratitude, i went through all ur research videos and motivation u gave after ur 1st application of indigo, no black colour but ugly orange coloured hairs, u told kindly don t leave and try it few times, for me first time story was same and today with second application 80% hairs are black, i couldn t wait till tomarrow to give u this message, i totally avoided plaStic, even to n extent of glooves and the shower cap, i had soaked indigo, then realized the plastic glooves, used bare hands, my hands r coloured black, i used cloth to cover instead of shower cap, i did two process step, that looks more genuine, let my hairs become black, then i will do some permutation and combination as hairs r very dry, i know about hair mask, but thats after two days. i use to apply hair dye, my hairs were white from front very badly. Dear friends, I experimented one thing for dryness after indigo application. That is boil half tsp of flax seeds in 2 cups of water. Very thin gel type solution. I added 2-3 drops of olive oil in flax seeds gel and rinse after washing out indigo henna. Worked really well. No fading, no dryness! Voila! Flax gel type rinse should be lukewarm otherwise it solidifies.

Jaya Sudha, I have similar problem and I live in Canada. Here I got vatika mehndi in different shades and pouches. I instantly mix vatika mehndi and indigo powder, apply for half an hour or 45 min. and same time I work in kitchen just to keep myself warm. Worked really well. See if it works for you. Good luck.

I've just bought indigo powder from an ayurvedic store and wanted to apply it using henna, but didn't know the process exactly. Watching ur video was of great help.
