I grew up logging (I got out of it a long time ago) and I have always burned firewood here in northwest Montana. Over the years I have owned countless saws. Husqvarna, stihl, jonsered, homelite, poulon, etc. No matter what they all eventually wear out, break, or get stolen. The last bigger saw that I bought was a husqvarna 460 and it had starting and idling problems from day one. Even the shop where I bought it was never able to sort out the problem so I finally gave up on it and gave it to another person that had one. With that being said, I can buy 3 of these for the price of one husqvarna 460. Even if one broke down prematurely at worst it would be a great source for extra parts on the two remaining saws. Lol. Thank for your reviews. Keep on cutting.

Yes the purchase price of these saws and the reliability I've experienced is amazing I never go out in the woods with out atleast one of them in the truck and I'm not nice to them I've left them out in all kinds of weather leave gas in them all winter and they just keep running kinda like the old Ford pinto motors or the iron Duke or slant 6 they're just happy little motors

wow Nice to see you running them another year. I have an Noetec ncs6200 20" about 14lbs with B&C its surprised me & become my go to use saw [im old n retired] ive a lill toy stihl 211c 18" [a fine trail saw on the atv] being retired my current saw use/work is limited & these small saws have been great. my big saws are also retired :) my thought is to add the salem master, it is a bit heavier, but looks to be reliable :) thank you for sharing!

parts are readily available online on amazon and ebay. these saws are zenoah g5200 clones. i have the Dereal pro 5820g with the 16 inch bar. its nearly identical to your 6220g. btw what oil and mix ratio are you using? i didn't see any smoke in this video so i'm guessing its not the 25:1 the manual states.

@@mountianmansfamilygarage3141 just yesterday I aquired a brand new 6220H For 12$ at a garage sale. Used it for 8 minutes And tore it down and did some "blind porting" on it. @@shannonwhitaker9630 porting it without timing your ports and just going by experience instead of math. It's a great way to destroy your saws performance if you're new to porting but is also relatively easy for the veteran 2 stroke enthusiast or mechanics.

My 6220G ran for 1 year, I just went out used it for an hour, now it won't start. It will run on straight starter fluid for 2 seconds, then it's out. the few times it has run I have to have it fully choked. I cannot find any support online for it off of Amazon, they seem to have disappeared, I was looking to try a new carb. I'm buying a Husqvarna.

@@mountianmansfamilygarage3141 rings and cylinder look good, it ran fine for a year, bought on 11/21/20. this weekend i ran it hard it started racing real bad. I mixed brand new fuel, now it only sputters with straight starter fluid. when I reached on Amazon they say they it's no longer available and no support is available. @@brianx2640 Telling me that it's started racing did you check to make sure the carburetor didn't vibrate loose sounds like you ended up with a vacuum leak which would have caused it to run lean and take out the rings

Sounds like sitting up with ethanol fuel in it. In the past I noticed ethanol effects inside carbs in a little as two weeks. I don’t use ethanol fuel in any of my small engine equipment. Even with regular gas not a bad idea to run dry and remove any remaining fuel for long sit up periods.
