I really like the whole notion of "learn from our mistakes" and that you are implementing quarantining process.
@comeonmanagain33132 жыл бұрын
No not really he has been quarantining his fish for About longest I’ve seen two weeks now typically it takes about a month if not longer so he’s just putting on a façade to get people off his back he is still not doing it correctly. If he actually learn from his mistakes he would be doing it the correct and proper way. And not also quarantining fish in already established tank but he has done with the triggerfish and puffer fish in previous videos.
@RandomZShorts152 жыл бұрын
@@comeonmanagain3313 Ideally, new fish should be quarantined in a separate tank for two weeks prior to moving them to their permanent residence in the main tank. This allows you to observe the fish for disease or other problems without risking harm to your other fish in the main tank.

He still is slacking on what should be done, puffer housed with lobster, quarantining his fish for only 2 weeks, Housing a octopus in a non custom tank so it can easily escape, and taking wild animals out of the environment when he doesn’t know how to care for them (he straight up killed the guitar fish I’ll never live that down, I knew the day he posed that video that it was going to die in his care. and he took down a video talking about it and how it died because of the hate, so like he definitely hides/dose not show his major mistakes)

So you’re aware - sand and rock will leach copper over a matter of months. It will keep doing it even if you have out absorbing media in. You should remove all the same and rock and start fresh really.
@LucasGomes-vh9ei2 жыл бұрын
came to say this. its important to research heavily and attend classes on saltwater care.
@ELITEGOD612 жыл бұрын
How are you supposed to avoid this problem then? I know absolutely nothing about marine animal care
@alexpritchard81172 жыл бұрын
@@ELITEGOD61 when treating with copper you should remove all sand and rocks and use PVC pipes for cover (for smaller fish) Or bin the rock - I would be surprised if the copper treatment was successful as rock and sand absorbs the the copper and depletes it from medicated level to a lower level in a matter of hours. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the ich etc is just down but not out the fight - give it a few months and they could be back. Although the UV will help a little
