Yes @WorkingHorsesWithJim I watched until the end and would love some homemade apple crisp and ice cream 😊 I do like homemade apple pie better but with 3 of your sweeties making the crisp I imagine it was wonderful family time and delicious 😋💞😋

I love Abby and her channel " A Drill and A Dream" both my parents and I watch her together and are very proud of her. Her dream to have her own home has inspired us. By the time she learns all the lessons Jay is teaching her, she will be able to build a new home 🏠 by herself.! You have raised a lovely young woman any parents would be proud to have as a daughter.🎉❤❤❤

I, too have had stallions of different breeds that are well behaved. I make some people mad when I say that disposition comes first. Even before "no hoof, no horse" is trainability.

I planted some Douglas Fir and some Blue spruce I got from NYS nursery in 1989 when I built on my property. I put them in on some of the best soil on the property as a windbreak for the house and they do well as that. We took out some for a few years as Christmas trees.

Hi Jim and Brenda, In regards to the ice and snow that builds up above the door to your barnyard, have you ever tried a heat tape zig zagged on the roof edge above the gutter. They work great for keeping snow and ice from causing ice dams. Here in Wisconsin, my dad uses one above both entrances to his house and never has a problem. Just have to anchor it and keep it turned on.

I watched to the end .. it was GREAT and interesting all the way through. Baron did so very well .. his legs look very good to me with the new wedges (but I don't know beans about horses except I so enjoy watching them and think they are all so beautiful). I love to see them in parades .. a few years ago saw 2 black Percherons pulling fancy black hearse in a parade at Newark Valley, NY a few miles from where I live. They were wonderful but I did not have card in my camera and internal memory got full (so mad at myself). Your horses are all so SMART. You are both so good at handling them and teaching them. Your granddaughters are LOVELY. TYVM

I watched to the end. What I want to know is how to make that apple crisp!! I had a possible idea about your concerns about if your fix worked on Baron's feet. This might not help now but, in the future when an issue comes up with one of your horses' feet, you could set your camera on slow motion and record their step before and after you do a horseshoe fix. Then you could watch the before and after slow motion footage and actually see if the fix worked or not. You might have already thought of this, but I just thought I would mention it. Another thing is that the slow-motion footage could help to show what exactly you are able to see in real time with your horses' step. It would be a good teaching tool for those of us that are not all that familiar with houses and can't see what you can see. Your videos, after all, are a good teaching exercise about what it is like to be a modern farmer that uses hoses and not tractors. And, by the way, you and Brenda do your videos very well. They are not '"flashy" or sensational. And you make them with not a lot of drama. That is a good thing. They just show your real-world experiences as a farmer. I like that. And I have learned a lot about your way of farming. (I am a retired engineer so have NO farming experience.) I will continue to watch and learn. Thanks!
