Good to see you soldiering on and doing what you can. Top tip on the coil cover and coil . My coil was a bit feisty so I took the cover off. Absolutely filthy underneath the coil. Nice clean and very happy with it. Take care and hh ridge and furrow btw 😉

That Lexus must be "entertaining" to reverse - having said that, I bet it has a reversing camera :D

Sort of a non metal detecting metal detecting video. Was looking forward to an actual hunt, as I am sure you were too. Not sure what happened there, but the chat home was informative. Thanks for the video,,Thumbs up as always,,,,Garnet

Too much gain with big coils affects disc quality. If you re-buried that bit of iron firmly and ran the coil over it on half or slightly under you will hear what I mean Lori. Small coils handle more gain, most of the time, big ones do Not. It 'de-harmonises' things, and can adversely affect depth, in my op. Tune in any transistor radio, set to below half volume, precisely, to a narrow wave band station, then whack up the volume. Nuf sed.... So many fall foul of the habit of GB ing precisely, and then whacking the gain to full power, and backing off a tiny bit to lose 'crackle', thinking 'Job done'.. It 'ain't the way' with 10" ,plus, coils: again, in my op.. I was guilty of the habit for ages by 'copy cat default', I must've missed heaps. I certainly dug lots of crap small iron etc..... But 'each to their own'...Whack up the gain if you feel the need.... With dirt lodging in the webs/spokes cavities of the DTU13DD coil: coil cover off, wash out web/spoke cavities with warm water (no detergent), leave to coil dry out (hairdryer), fill the gaps up with any cheap clear outdoors waterproof sealant, wet-finger level, let it dry overnight, put coil cover back on. Job done. Hope all this yap helps someone! Nice wheels Lori, Gavin.
