Good to see you're still liking the bike man. Still waiting on mine to come back from the exhaust shop. When it comes to the key fob issue, make sure you dont leave the key with the bike unless you're riding. The fob makes constant communication with the bike when they're close to each other.

Grat video, what I find interesting is the price in the pre owned market, I see many around the $10k with less than 5000 miles, that is very none Harley like, usually Harley keeps the value much better

Good stuff. I am still on mine too. Considering getting some bars from Killer Custom and may possibly upgrade the suspension. I haven’t done the exhaust yet but have upgraded a bunch of other stuff.

It such a good bike it’s too bad and unfortunate that I have to deal with this little bit of an issue. Had I not had the check engine light the bike would’ve been borderline perfect

@@ChrisKrewz I feel like that’s a fair assessment. A number of people on 2021 and 2022 bikes have had some issues it sounds like. Definitely unfortunate. It’s a really fun bike for rides under 2 hours I always say. Amazing in fact. After that or if you are getting to a certain age like I am, you have to ask yourself whether a sport tourer or a bagger start to make more sense. That’s kind of where I am right now. The Low Rider ST, Pan America, or a performance bagger probably make more sense for me and my back at this point I think. I love the Sportster S for what it is though. If I didn’t go Harley again, BMW would be at the top of my list and I would be looking closely at S1000XR, the R18 Roctane, and the new 1300GS.

@@ChrisKrewzI must say that your videos regarding the sportster have been real informative and useful for KZbin world. Btw, I didn’t have the patience to deal with check engine light/ errors and continuous battery issues - so I traded in mine before the warranty was going to be expired.

@@ChrisKrewz haha, no like you said mechanically the sportster was doing ok - I was just concerned if something went wrong after warranty expiration- you know how harley charges crazy amounts of $$ for repairs and even software updates. You are talented and very much hands on - so, I think yours will be alright. I got the new Breakout (which has almost no electronics lol - and I guess thats what Harley should stay away from is the advanced electronics. They still have a long way to catch up with Japanese mfrs. in that sense. Just barebone Motorcycle is all they need to keep making.

I love this fcukn bike. Once i put it on a trickle charger ive had no issues or code faults. Everyone whos owned them and sold them must have had some unreasonable expectations from the git. Its a sport bike. Plain and simple. Its not meant to be a comfy long rang cruiser. I keep my rear shock adjustments set all the way to hard and it responds well. No sway left to right. This bike is a savage.

i went to harley dealers here in beirut , they dont have it there is one 2022 shipped from cyprus but no warranty after the yoitibe videos wont take a risk without manufacturer warranty and i insisted 2024 model finger crossed, is it smooth in traffic low rpm riding ? few miles per hr?

You can get it and reinstall the original if you have problems with the bike they won’t know. Well then they don’t even know how to fix it to begin with lol 😂
