My oldest daughter is 20, she will be 21 next month, she went on vacation for 8 days…..I cried. I deep cleaned her room, had to talk to her every day. You are so strong. And so incredibly proud of Kelsey. She’s going do amazing on her Mission. And don’t EVER say it’s dumb to miss your child. That’s what us moms should do. We can be proud of them but still miss them.

I feel like that's how i felt when we my son went into the navy. He was 19 and the guy came to pick him up and it took him forever to get up and go because he was so nervous. They were only allowed to tell us they landed at the base in great lakes until graduation. Kesley will do great!

The cheer comp was so good. Love the Mac and cheese dish. I make this sometimes . Have you put bread crumbs on top it's so good with sourdough toasted then.throw in cubes in blender.. The dinner looked amazing. Shanna I cryed how much you miss Kesley . That would be so hard 😢❤. Love from Oregon

As a former military wife.. I understand this. May not be LDS but the dread of knowing how long it’ll be before you see them is so hard. It does get easier. Take a clear jar and your fav candy and put one piece in per day and soon it’ll fill up and she will be home sooner than you realize. Then eat the candy once she’s back 😂

Whip cream 16 oz if you’re planning on a lot of people eating otherwise 8 oz 1 TBSP vanilla Sprinkle cinnamon 2-3 cans mandarin oranges, drain the juice 1-2 apples chopped 1-2 bananas A bunch of grapes Mix and enjoy Or add whatever fruit you’d like. We’ve also done Strawberries, bananas blueberries, blackberries and raspberries

This reminds me of me leaving to the Army for basic training then I came back home and moved a week after to college. Im also Kelsey’s age and now I’m fixing to leave on a mission trip in the summer so my parents have kind of seen it all 🥺 as a daughter leaving her parents it’s really hard especially when you are mommas and daddy’s girl and the oldest! I missed many important moments in my little siblings life but I’m glad they have a sister too look up too!! 💗 been with you guys since I was 15! 🥹
