Update on My 2011 GI Joe Skystriker Custom and Disassembly Walkthrough.

This video talks about how to replace the landing gear or other components inside the 2011 GI Joe Skystriker. The Skystriker itself uses Philips screws and is glued in two places, the rear engine housing and the intake housing in the front. The tools you will need are a PH1 screwdriver, an Exacto knife, and a plastic prying tool that's mostly used for electronics. Just remember to have patience and go slow when prying the body of the Skytriker. Understand that the front of the Skystriker glue points will snap but it will still look sealed once you make your repairs. All I need to do is pull off the nose for Storage, and I was hoping I could do so without unscrewing anything. Also mine currently still has the sticker sheet in the best condition I could afford for storing it in a book. I'm normally not good at applying stickers and always planned to get around to it, just never did from 2012-2024 (got the bird sealed in box at a Goodwill). Edit, actually after taking the 2 screws closest to the clip off, it did come apart easy enough (Less screws to keep track of), so it was relatively easy. Now it's just a matter of storing everything parts-wise in a bag and storing it in a bin, to make some shelf space for other things; Namely Legos!

@@LodanSD that's impressive that you got a sealed Skystriker from Goodwill! Yes, you can get to the nose without unscrewing the whole plane. Try loosen up the two screws close to the fuselage and see if you're able to slide it out. Let me know how it goes!

That's the plan due to some discoloration on the top. As well as patching up some of the holes.
