Not an expert but i would have my sissors with my blowout kit(first aid) my tool inside the oounch and pistol mags on the outsid for the ready. I set mine up for emergency use but may set up different for range. Your magazines are upside-down? Consider how you would pull them out and liad into your rifle for tactical use as well as you hand gun magazines. You want them to be ready for quick deployment. Looks great.

I’m in California so the mags are MFT Cross Mags 10rd Compliant. 2 /10 rd that connect in the middle that’s why the rounds are exposed. I rather have 20 instead of only 10rd in the same configuration. I did a video on these mags. I like the trauma shears out, this is more of a range setup not combative setup. Just something we all should consider having in case you have to grab and go. Thanks for tuning in! 🎥👀👍🏾

Nice video. If I had one suggestion, I would recommend you insert your AR mags (rounds down). When you run and gun and have to go prone, you will get all sorts of dust, mud, or sand in your mags. This can couse you many problems. Also, I would relocate your trauma shears to an IFAK/ First Aid Kit. They will be in your way when trying to reload your primary weapon and reinsertion of your empty mags.

Since you are a lefty brother you should stow your mags facing the left, more efficient and less movement required to reload. 🤘🏼

quick additional note, I have had my 5.56 mags sitting loaded for 4+ years now. I will say I rotate them so when. got to the range, I'll grab a few loaded mags (usually 3-4) and then let those off. Then fill the empty ones to replace them. I always keep 8 mags fully loaded ready to go.
@eyesnearstactical9 ай бұрын
That’s a good rotation you have going! I do the same with my home defense ammo too. Let it sit for 6 months or so then shoot it and reload then repeat.
@bernardbarr23549 ай бұрын
@@eyesnearstacticalwhy do you shoot your home defense ammo every six months? Is that for proficiency or do you think they will go bad ......?
@eyesnearstactical9 ай бұрын
@@bernardbarr2354 great question! I do it for reliability reasons and just to keep fresh ammunition ready to go. I really don’t think the ammunition will go bad but, gives me confidence my ammo is good to go. Stay blessed!

@@eyesnearstactical brother you don't NEED to but if you feel you have to. I've been in this since the 60s and I never heard anyone say or do that. No negatives that come to mind except financial loss. On the positive it is good to occasionally practice with carry ammo. Two other questions....you live in Cali ? And what do you mean by fresh?

Looks like a perfect set up for me. I need to get on square. I have my body armor but it doesn't have everything I attached to it. This is the perfect light weight grab and go set up. It looks very thought out and purposeful. Quality counts! Buy once' Cry once.. Great video as usual. Thanks for sharing.
