Update on My BROKEN Tesla Model Y Performance

Why couldn’t the techs test drive your car and see the warnings were still there after replacing battery?? This doesn’t give me any confidence in Tesla service and thought they would know their product better than legacy OEM dealers.

Well, when I started driving, there was nothing, then it came back--if they didn't drive for 2 miles, I guess they could have missed it too but I also agree with you. A reasonable test drive probably would have revealed the issue was still there.

I bought a new Model Y and it broke the first day within 30 miles(reduced power). They had it 4 days (they did a low voltage check and said there was nothing wrong) , then had it back 30 hours and same problem happened. It’s been there 12 days since and they are replacing the accelerator pedal (bad fuse) and a harness.

I just bought mine 1/19/24 and it broke, 39miles driven from Honolulu to my house. Looks like front motor problem, can’t get it to gears. only one hour of ownership and broken. Towed Back To Tesla.😢, I was stuck on the road!

I just don’t understand the appeal of low quality, over priced, unreliable, and potentially very dangerous. But I guess that is why the politicians decided to give tax breaks for luxury vehicles. I guess I’m the stupid one who just doesn’t get it?
