I don't follow your channel, but this popped up on my home page. Crafting of any type is a recommended coping method for anxiety. It makes your brain focus rather than wandering off in anxiety mode. I paper craft and friend of my crochets (which is in someways better as it's more portable). Good luck and very best wishes for 2020.

My heart goes out to you, Tina! I have had a very stressful job for the past 14.5 years and have decided to retire. I am 65, but it was a scary thing. I told my family that I just want to find out who I am without the stress hanging over me. Here's to a new chapter in our lives!

I went through something similar at work. I was there for 29 years and made it through cutbacks and layoffs, more cutbacks and layoffs, and even more cutbacks and layoffs, again and again. This went on for years. More and more work was added to my plate and it became nearly impossible, yet I persevered. The attitude and work environment became so negative as everyone kept wondering who was next. In the end the business shut down and over 500 people (including my husband and me) were out of a job, so I understand about your anxiety. I wish you all the best with finding a new job, if you decide to do so, and moving forward in your life with whatever you end up deciding. Change can be good. Stay positive and it could open opportunities and possiblities you haven't thought about. Thank you for letting us know what's been going on. This is a tough time of year for this to happen, yet this is the time of year that it always seems to happen, at least around here. My sister-in-law just lost her job a week ago. Just wanted to say I'm thinking about you and wishing you all the best.

Sorry to hear you are struggling. Glad to hear you have made changes, your hubby is on the same page, and you have crafting etc to ease the anxiety!! Hugs and kisses to you!!

I think you are amazing! Thank you for letting us be a part of your life. I had a job a few years ago that made me physically ill. It had started so well and all of the other nurses and I were like family. I kept thinking after new management took over it would get better. Kept hoping and holding on. I lost 40 lbs, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and had daily or more often panic attacks. My husband finally said enough. So I left. It was the best decision ever. I have a great job that I love and am feeling much better. Rarely have anxiety. So, I know you did the right thing! If your job is affecting your health, you need to leave. I’m sure you will be so much happier! God has a plan for us, but we have to listen to his signs! I watch every video and think you are the sweetest person. You deserve to be happy and well! 2020 is going to be a fantastic year! Cheers!-Nancy

Being happy is way more important than a job. I learned that also. I quit a job and started a new job that was closer to home but less pay. But, it was totally worth the change in me. I wasn't a pleasant person when I was at the other job. I was stressed to the hilt, stomach ache, eye twitches, the works. Now I love my job, not as stressful and I love my coworkers. It was worth every penny that I lost! You'll notice a change too I hope. So will your family! Merry Christmas Tina!!

I have experienced something similar and am quite sure that life is too precious to waste it on things that make us upset, anxious and affect those we love. You are starting a new part of the journey, it's frightening but exciting. Who knows what new treasures will fill the space you have created by clearing out the negative. Allow yourself time and space as the hardest part is done. Try to go with the flow for a while as you might be surprised at how things develop. Cherish all the good things, try new things, feel the support holding you....Good luck.

I lost my job in 2009 when everyone was losing their jobs. Then the following year my back went out on me. If it weren't for my love of crafting, back then it was scrapbooking, I don't know how I would have survived. I met so many wonderful women online before You Tube and Facebook. I have not worked since then and I was a single mother. You are blessed to have the support of your husband. It won't be long until you're asking why did I take so long to leave that job! I discovered your channel this past year and I try not to miss any of your videos. There are two others I subscribe to, and several others I will watch when I have time. I am happy to say that you wonderful ladies have inspired me to start my own online business which I plan to launch in February. Not to make $ but to share my love of crafting. I actually love to find bargains and make things from what I have on hand. I have ADD, and several disabilities. I love that you're so down to earth and your craft space is just as cluttered as mine!! You'll be just fine and I cant wait to see more videos. Word of advice, don't let it get in the way of your family. I did that for awhile.

My friend bought me the basics of a junk journal and even made the cover for me and pointed me to both your videos and ARTYmaze's. That was in September. Since then I have made 7 different journals and have the same number ready to assemble. You and your videos gave me what I needed. I can empathise with your anxiety and wish you well. Just let the time you spend in your happy place work it's magic. It helped me feel more positive about things and I hope it does that for you. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and many blessings in the New Year. Hugs. 😊🎄🎁❤

I am so sorry you have been dealing with this. I left my teaching career after 17 years because of anxiety and depression. More of your crafting, ideas, and stories will be more than welcome in my life!

We are thinking of you in your days of great challenge. In my experience, it takes some time to adjust to big changes. It is a gift that you continue to teach us and share your wonderful arts. To have your husband’s support is a most important part. Yet you and your mental health is what I’m sure all of us pray will improve. Thank you, friend!

I suffer from Anxiety Disorder and when I would hear the things you would say before you VERY BRAVELY shared about your situation, I was concerned that you might be developing it. You are taking the right steps (even if it may not feel so right now), and I think it's wonderful that you have the support of your family ... that means a lot to the person going through this. Your true subbies that care about you will be here to support and encourage you as well!! You are a very creative person with an amazing gift and you share it with all of us so that we might stretch and grow, too. So we're all in this together!! I wish for the best for you!! ♥️Lois

Be kind to yourself. You go not struggle alone. Crafting is a big part of my therapy and self care. It is endorsed by my therapist along with meds and positive self talk. I am accepting my new life “season” and cheering for you as you find your new place in the world.

It's funny how attached we can become to people we don't even know except through videos. You seem like such a sweet person and I'm sorry to hear about your anxiety. A bad job just isn't worth it but of course the money is important and we have to make a living. I truly hope that some wonderful new opportunities open up for you.

Good for you Tina! And how great it must be to have the support of your husband for this kind of decision. Anxiety can run (or ruin) so much of our lives so it's great to hear you were able to walk away from something that had become a source for so much of your anxiety. Thanks for share ng this with us and I look forward to seeing more from you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. -Pham

Well done you for sharing. I decided to leave my job because I didn't feel appreciated, since then I have done what I wanted to do. I am so busy, I actually don't have time for a job, but I am happy, I spend more time with my family and I have no stress. Changes happen for a reason, enjoy it. Have a great Christmas. I take a lot of inspiration from your videos, thank you xx
