8165s are my favorite openers and TBHD724 could you try to get a LiftMaster 3245 its a 1/3 H.P garage door opener its compared to the Liftmaster 3255.

idk why im asking this, but if you get a new mc board an put it on a non wifi opener (lets say an original 8550) does it add wifi connectivity?

Technically yes, but you can’t take a board from like a 83650 and put it in a 8550
