Nice looking machine my Friend! I have a secret Sauce that's not so secret to free rusted or stuck parts like your valve on that engine. 50/50 mix of Mineral Spirits and Transmission fluid. It really creeps in between the valve guides and valves and frees up sticky valves pretty quickly. Another thing I use that concoction for is if an engine hasn't ran for a good long while, I pour a couple table spoons into the spark plug hole. If there are stuck rings, this will free those up as well. I've got an older video on this very problem. Another great product for these older engines and garden tractors is PB Blaster "LMT" or Lawn Mower Tuneup in a can. Similar transmission/hydraulic fluid base that's thinned with another petroleum product. Cheers my Friend! looking forward to seeing this Jacobson moving under its own power! Zip~

Well done Boneyard. The only time I have had a stuck valve I just put the engine at TDC and firing so all valves should be closed, sprayed some WD40 down the valve stem through the valve hole, and tapped it with something like a spanner. Then turn the engine over and it stuck again, so repeated the process a few times and then it was perfect.

Benedict White most of the time you can get away with spraying WD-40 and working The valves up-and-down hopefully that’s all I have to do to it! Thanks for watching!

Cool intake elbow for the air cleaner. I usually put on a Briggs Red disc fuel filter on gravity systems as sometimes the paper filters clog and don't allow enough flow without a fuel pump. Is the steering tight?

Kens Small Engines The intake is pretty cool. It does have a fuel pump and I always have good luck with those fuel filter’s. The steering is pretty tight hasn’t been used much just sitting in the garage. I will be working on the other one for myself possible A full restore. Thanks for watching!

I am looking for a fuel tank cap with gauge for my 1200 chief. Can you provide a good source? Thank you!
