i must say Harvey i admire your skill with electronics, i am a bit of a NAD fan and have a small collection, i would love to learn how to test caps and resistors etc. and mend broken ones myself, though i managed to fix problem selector switches using Deoxit! great vid keep up the good work (-:

The NAD does sound very good, Harvey, I expect the separation is very good when able to listen in clear stereo.

It's brilliant Theo. My mbl is stereo but when I film in landscape mode the mics are stacked on top of each other so not very good stereo effect.

Good job Harvey, your NAD does look much better made than my older NAD3150.. Watch the new NAD3150 repair video on Trevor's Bench channel.. It reminded me of the mission I had getting mine running perfect again.. ps. hope you're watching VER's CB radio build. What a hack job and a total waste of a £60 19" rack enclosure.. lol lol

I own one. They are really not very good sounding.Sort of dirty and hazy sounding.I guess that sort of sound has its place in cheap systems where you might want to mask the crappy sound of other components but in absolute terms it is not very good.
