Agree with you having Mazie to help out with the equines. I'm the same with my dogs. Have pet sat for 40 years and have called it quits! I have taken care of other folks' animals like I would for my own. Only problem has been time, and I've felt mine over the years have got the shaft. I also don't trust people with mine. I've seen people do certain things/routines with their animals that doesn't gel with me. Have you thought about getting a BHA teaching license? Going on full into equestrian care? Just thoughts. I should have taught, and I'd still be probably really good. I actually watching you can critique you. Shame about the Dressage. It's not about the fancy stuff/KUR it's good flatwork and balance. It could save your neck or in sadly your case ankle. Think about it. Just put a sound system up and play your favourite music to walking & trotting Mittens & Dan. Lastly, I agree we don't find animals they find us!
