Galaxy eyes is one of the two decks I own(alongside odd eyes), so I was pretty excited for this video. Here are some of my suggestions. Discussions are welcome. 1 knight 2 wizard works better. Knight is easily searchable and a brick when the conditions aren’t right. I like the mekk knight engine, I’m going to test it immediately. Expedition seriously should be two. Even at two it bricks sometimes. Accellight should be at zero. I still side gozen match and run two tachyon transmigration in the main deck, maybe I’m too cautious. Gozen match is almost always sided in. Double full armor for more pops and no62 for otks. Maybe a hyper star for more atk. No need for double cipher. Add cipher blade for another pop. I run two sol flare because I run one cleric. In the grind game you can get back sol flare over and over with cleric. Their synergy is incredible, normal summon cleric, get back 5 to deck, draw two. Get another light on board, make sol flare with cleric, add cleric back to hand. This combo out grinds all the non meta decks. And add thrasher as a one of. It come up when you have too many vanisher and or rota. Also maybe add in lavineer, as a one of. He is a one card rank8 in this deck. Shame he is not also treated as a light.

i don`t run wizard and i run 2 knight ; the deck has a ton of ways for searching out cards the main problem is to have that first card on the field without worrying too much if they negate the first one, couse the deck briks in the moment that you can`t summon 2 monsters on the field in some ways(yea i know i`m mister obvious there)

AddMix Yep, two knights is better than 3 knight and 3 wizards. Wizard is way too good with expedition. Wizard searching the spell card that is a one card rank 8 (forgot its name) is basically the same as knight except you’re locked into galaxy photon cards and lose 2000 life points. However, I think wizard is better because you can normal summon him. His effect isn’t opt so you can get him back with monster reborn and use his effect again. Also, drawing wizard in a grind game is a game changer while drawing a knight is a brick.

stop running knight at 1. its always been a 2 of and wizard is a really good 3 of to unbrick your hands and stop telling him to run expedition at 2. the logic that because its hopt and bricks at 3 makes zero sense. if you had to choose between running 3 soul charge and 1 soul charge you'd always run 3 soul charge because its a power card that immediately wins you games. same thing goes for expedition

Ithi Before the new support arrived, running expedition at 2 is the right choice, the logic is the fear of potentially opening no starter cards that can make expedition live and opening more than 1 copy. However with the added support, you now have a lower risk of opening expedition and it being dead in hand. So at this stage playing 2 or 3 copies is player preference tbh. Also you cannot compare soul charge to expedition. There are few more conditions that needed to be met in your opening hand for expedition to be on par with soul charge, while soul charge's only condition is to have LP and not battle. I agree with knight at 2 though.

What's up, Sam. I'm back. This deck is definitely better than your previous photon deck. A lot of the ratios, in my personal opinion, are way better than last time. There are things to nit pick, but most of it is just player preference. 1) Galaxy Knight should be at 2. You don't want to run 3 Knight if you have 2 Brave. In all honestly, 2 Knight and 1 Brave is what I found to be the best. I've tried the 3-2 ratios of Knight and Brave, and let me just tell you that more times than not, it is beyond bricky. 2) Where are your Galaxy Zero? You don't care if your effects are negated because monsters are constantly being used as extra deck material, so Zero is pretty much another Monster Reborn and a great extender for the deck. 3) Where are the Photon Thrashers? You need this guy at 2. This deck loves free bodies on board, and Thrasher is one of them. He also allows you to start your plays with Photon Vanisher and Photon Orbital because now you have a Photon monster on board. There's no reason not to run him. 4) Galaxy Wizard and Galaxy Expedition are really great at 2, but 3 shouldn't pose too problematic either. Up to you. 5) I do not think you should play the Mekk-knight engine if you're playing the spell Galaxy Trance. Trance limits you to the actual archetype meaning if you see it and a Mekk-knight in hand, you now have a dead card that could have been something else more useful. Of course, dead cards are never good, but you should be able to tell that Galaxies like to eat up the entire hand, so even if there are 2-3 card combos out there, all 5-6 cards (depending on going first or second) still matter.In this case, it's better to run the 1 Guardian of Order as its still a free LIGHT lv8 body. You can't be having dead cards. If you want the Mekk-Knight engine, then take out Galaxy Trance. 6) It's good to see Accellight cut to 1. The card was always a brick at anything higher. It's a decent play starter by getting out wizard if you absolutely have no other choice, but I feel like Accellight is still a must-have at 1. The deck itself, although way more consistent than it's ever been, still has bad hands more often than the usual Tier 1 deck. Accellight may help with those cases. 7) You should replace one Cipher Blade Dragon for Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon. He adds extra power to the deck and enables OTK's along with Borrelsword. Prime Photon can get ridiculously massive. 8) If you want, you can try subbing out 1 Solflare Dragon for a Hip Hoshiningen. Both LIGHT Link-2. Both summonable with the Photon Tokens. It's just that Hip Hoshiningen also make a spicy double layer protection when you also have the new Rank 4 Starliege Photon Blast Dragon out. Gives protection from targeting and destruction by effects to anything with 2,000 ATK or higher. Photon Blast is only at 1800, but Hip gives everything 500 ATK, so the only way to break board is to use resources to get rid of the Hip first and then Photon Blast one by one, or generate enough big beater attacks to clear the prominent bodies. Overall, much better than your previous profile. All the main staples are at 3 which is good (it hurts me to see someone running only 2 Photon Dragon and 2 Soldier). If anyone else has any thoughts, then please post. I also want to see what other people think and their preferences on the deck.

I know this was a year ago, but what are your thoughts on taking out transmigration? I see the viability of replacing gozen match, but is it worth getting rid of a card that can potentially negate an entire chain if you play it right (plus every negated card on the field goes back to the deck and screws up graveyard recovery)? Hell, with the right monster out, it even acts as a hand trap.

The combo showing at the end was a very good idea and it should be how all your profiles are from now on. I prefer Japanese deck profile videos because of that reason and I was very pleasantly surprised that you did that at the end

Ok if any anyone is a true galaxy/photon player already knows accellight shouldn't be in the deck period! If you want a better option do more ss with PHOTON LEAD. The deck with new support is basically search and swarm with xyz, it's to the point trade in isnt even needed in the deck anymore but you can still run it but dont need to. Not saying hes wrong its preference but if the opps stop one ss to try and make me normal summon I rather keep ss. I only run 2 galaxy knight cause there's many ways to get GEPD on an off the field.

Sam said that mekk knights are a must of. I highly disagree. You don’t play as many combo pieces in the deck which will cause a lot of bricking. Also you can’t generate as much advantage. And also if you see a knight and wizard in your hand with mekk knights than you auto loose. Don’t need to be playing 3 wizard because the normal summon of knight makes the double xyz board so I think cut wizard to 1 and play thrasher as a 2-3 of. Thrasher is a starter card for everything and you don’t play him. Seems like you didn’t test this deck at all :(

Dude, ditch the Mekk Knights and run Herz and Cydra. Also i recommend dropping one of the Cipher Blade for Galaxy Prime because switching from a stun board to an OTK effortlessly is amazing. Making room for Tachyon isn't bad either cause the lack of toolbox answers

@@TigerT242 Yes you have many ways to out a monster on the field but is not with a normal summon that you want monsters to be on the field , and you need photon and galaxy mosters on the field or hand to use 85% of the cards in the deck . . . Witch means that mekkight m8 not work that well there since is pointless having a mekk-knight lvl8 on the field all alone without any other lvl 8 mosters ; and every card in the deck has a specific condiction to be summoned using photon or galaxy cards ; so the only card that you will 100% summon with no problem is the galaxy soldier. (i should maybe address the fact that on mekk-knights mosters i can`t activate expedition and number 90 needs a galaxy card in his materials to activate at full the first effect that he has) . Again i must say yea you have many ways for summoning BUT you need many ways to not be stopped by one negation . . . That s even the reason why briks so hard with those recipes that you guys are proposing .

i feel like called by the grave is a must to stop hand traps... Cyber emergency at 3 is literally makes galaxy soldier 6 copies in the deck. Performage trickclown is a good cost for galaxy soldier. 3 photon thrasher>mekk-knights (and trance does nothing for mekk-knights.) since it will bump the deck down closer to 40 making is more consistent and on top of that i feel like photon sanctuary is outmatched by scapegoat and scapegoat is at 2, so i feel like scapegoat is much better...

Also when you had the soldier, dragon and knight in hand and indigo on field you should've supposed ditched GEPD to the grave with soldiers ss cost and then normal summon the knight to ss GEPD from grave to go into the rank 8 summon that would've been the better play and then saved the photon Sanctuary for the comeback if the got over the board on their turn

Tachyon transmigration is not as good as everyone thinks... is totally a situational card and if you get kaiju'ed you might not have the recovery to even use it.. i also recommend tachyon (the number) as an otk condition against decks that have eater of millions or fairytail snow.. the photon hand is a good card to go second, also maybe you might want to run one of the 3300 machine or thunder kaiju to one as you can disrupt the silquitos, colossus, infinity and so on... as a light card that you can also discard with galaxy soldier and if you summon to the other side of the field you can easily get rid of or take control with galaxy eyes cipher dragon...

People are building the deck again, when the hype dies down the prices will go down, Wizard and expedition were like 4-5$ each a month or so ago, sanctuary is normally like a 7-8$ card but it is useful in other decks now so that price will probably stay somewhat high
