Thanks for the updates. I wanted to buy the game when it came out but I didn't (little time and I was playing something else), but now I kinda want to get into it. Would you say it is worthwhile to get it (for multiplayer) or is the population kind of low?

The population is low but if you make a lobby people will join. The updates are keeping it alive.
