Hi Carmen, aloes are nearly my favourite genus, euphorbias have the number one spot. Lovely aloes, and such a huge range available. We don’t have any access to any new aloes at present, due to travel restrictions. So I am concentrating on my what I have. In Australia many aloes are coming into flower now, our days are changing ....thanks for sending us more sun. It will soon be repotting time....there is a lot to do..I am amazed at the rate of growth over the past few months. Aren’t we lucky that we have our plants to keep us sane. Enjoy your videos so much, you certainly are comfortable in front of the camera , your voice is so soothing and your presentation superb.

Great collection! I just wanted to add that they often curl in their leaves because they are thirsty. Especially ‘Firebird’, it definitely appreciates less direct sun and more water here in SE Texas. Hello Carmen. Nice finding you on KZbin😉💖🙏The Aloe aristata I have been growing for years!😉It definitely naturally loses its' feeder roots in summer and what remains are long tap-roots. Try keeping it under your shade in midsummer. Don't water it and let it close up into a rose-bud shape!☝️From fall season it starts to make new roots and resume watering when dry👌Aloe aristata is a winter growing aloe the same as variegata. Let me send you some photos of mine to your Instagram😉🙏

I have always been fascinated by nature, ever since I was a little girl. Was given my own garden patch and sunflower seeds when I was 7. I remember watching a parrot we call locally '28's' eat my biggest sunflower in neat rows. 28's and sunflowers have been my favourite ever since. I have always had a green thumb and spend all my time outside. I travel for work and am always collecting cuttings and seeds. Succulents have long been a favourite. I recently got some Boab seeds and I grow a lot of bush-tucker plants, and fruit and veggies. I have a large property with chickens who fertilise everything for me and pinch my tomatoes.
