I would like to learn more about how to do things in CLI or Infrastructure as code
@TinyTechnicalTutorials3 ай бұрын
Hi @MajinMoose7! 👋 I don't really have anything on the CLI at the moment (will add it to my list!), but have a beginner video for CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code): kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJ6neGCNarl5ppY. Hope that helps! 🤓
@MajinMoose73 ай бұрын
@ Thank you I look forward to learning more about CLI and CloudFormation. I love your videos and how you get hands on in the console where all the action takes place. I feel like you can know all about the AWS Services conceptually but it is the hands on experience that makes you stand out and being able to deploy each of the services. Keep up the amazing videos!

i like your channed! do you offer consultancy services regarding aws?
@TinyTechnicalTutorials2 ай бұрын
I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos!! 🥰 No, I don't do consulting these days, but if you're looking for someone, check out iq.aws.amazon.com. It’s a freelance site for AWS projects specifically, where you post details of your projects, and AWS-certified folks can apply to work on them. Hope that helps! 🤓

Is there any advantage of using this crap over a simple vps from a more straightforward provider (hetzner/ionos/ovh/netcup...etc) the provisioning process is sooo much simpler on these providers, pricing is incomparably cheeper and the performance ... Will depend on what u choose but largely the same (and enough) and the end result is a simple virtual machine....i ve been searching for months (i m a developer) thinking there must be some logical reason , some benefit for using the mess of an ecosystem that's called AWS ... BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY !!! can someone please give me some reasons cuz i feel like i m missing something
@deldridg3 ай бұрын
Clearly you are frustrated, but perhaps if you asked nicely... Our host has put a lot of effort into making this video and it's at no cost, so perhaps you could tone your question with a little more grace. Just a suggestion...
@hanibachi52283 ай бұрын
@deldridg kindda out of place ! Neither did she design the product nor is my comment criticising her video. Maybe u can try letting her voice her own issues (if she had any)
@MajinMoose73 ай бұрын
@@hanibachi5228 all those providers you listed are not on the same level of AWS not even remotely close AWS offers a way more vast array of services that would be considered more reliable for Enterprise companies(companies that have a worldwide customer base) those other providers would be limited on availability and scalability to the resources they have. And there is really no comparison as to how much money AWS has spent in infrastructure and services in comparison to the providers you listed. To make it simpler there is a reason why the biggest companies use one of three big cloud providers AWS, GCP, Azure
@aquilesgomez51603 ай бұрын
Yes. At scale this all matters, especially if you're using a distributed system. If you're just starting out then this is overkill.
@TinyTechnicalTutorials3 ай бұрын
That's a great point! There are definitely cheaper options out there. It really depends on your use case. If you just need a single server or simple website hosting, AWS can be overkill, for sure. But if you have a lot of workloads and need "enterprise level" performance, then AWS might be a better fit. A few key things to consider: -Scalability: AWS lets you scale way beyond basic VPS limits. -Global Reach: AWS has data centers worldwide, so it's easier to reach users with low latency. -Advanced Services: AWS has extra tools/services for things like machine learning, Big Data, and IoT. -Security: AWS has lots of security and compliance options beyond what you get with basic VPS. Hope that helps! 🤓
