Oh dam u are quick! U really don’t need much gear. A fully geared hunter can do it closer to 15 min mark u might take 20 min so still great gold per hour

You can also use 2 keys per run in the last room to maximize profits. Onyx idols are 200g a pop still on my server :) keys are 40g and you can pull 2 idols from 1 coffer.

My friend is an undead rogue, she had trouble doing the jump spot. If you move to the left just before the jump rock up into that sharp corner there is a gap back there that you can walk up and works as a reset spot. Haven't tried it with other races but undead can fit in it (unmounted)

I love the gold farm videos, as they're really original! I'd love to see some more TBC stuff I'm hyped as hell for that expansion. A good idea might be "things to do to prepare for TBC goldmaking". Things like having a 300 herbalist druid alt for flower picking. Thinking of the expensive transmutes and CD items like cured rugged hide and mooncloth. It'd be nice to start TBC with a stable of profession maxed alts ready to go for a gold making empire.

I agree those are great ideas my worry is how they will start tbc if it’s all new characters then it kills that idea. I hope they wipe boe / consume items but keep character items only

See I was thinking keep all character lvl and equipped gear wise just resets gold so people don’t go in with 100k gold I find the gold grind is the fun part and market won’t tank right away if that is only part that resets basically

You can easily go without invis pot. On a mount you can easily hug left wall and completely ignore the first pack of bugs (i pulled it only once in 20 runs). Then you keep hugging the wall, jump on a drain pipe and right into water. Then you FD and get rid of 2nd bug pack. Voila

You don't need any of the items listed. All you gotta do is do pet pulls and you still get to the larvas in 7-8min. Also, you can take all but 1-2 larvas in the last room, idk why he resetted.

So ur saying u can do it with regular mount and any boost? I think a lot of ppl learning might find it easier with all the speed boost just for the added security. As far as the last room I might have edited out him killing a bunch more I was trying to speed the vid up best I could and he originally made the vid for his guildies to follow so I’m sure he might of skipped some once the point was across but I agree clear almost everything in that last room. How long are u doing a full clear run in and how geared are u as a bar point to factor things from

@@DaveTheGamer-detailedguides You can even do it without a mount, just using cheetah (not even improved) and doing pet pulls (putting pet on stay far away, getting aggro and dashing back on passive). Also, you can use aspect of the wild in the packs before Buru to mitigate some damage (better than asp. of the monkey). Where he uses the invis pot, you can literally just wait on feign death until the flesh hunter pats back and do a pet pull, jump down and feign and so on... Pet pull is way safer and there is no chance of getting dismounted and bonked.

Yeah, you can do everything with a pet pull, I just find it faster to mount up and run through it all. And you're right about the last room. You can get almost all the larvas in the last room, I just reset that one early because my bags were full and I wanted to go empty them.

@@madmitochondria6900 Makes sense about the reset. True, with mount you go for sure faster and if you are lucky to not get dismounted then it is all good. I just died using that strat often enough to just go for risk-free pet pulls all the time ^^. But what motivated me to put my first comment here was that probably some people believe you *need* an invis pot and others to do this in general so just wanted to clarify that there are other options which aint bad and don't require any items/consumes :)

Hell ya bro that’s awesome. It def varies on what idols u get but over like 5 hour farm it should always come out to around that amount. That’s some solid gold per hour. Did u have any troubles getting past the first set of mobs

They either hotfixed it recently or that hunter rng is godlike. Just finish a run, I legit got 0 idols, 4 scarab and 3 Larval acid. Im gonna continue for a while to see if its just bad RNG. But if its not, definetly not worth it.. PS. and thats not counting the 6 deaths it took me to skip the first 2mobs trash that somehow daze you an absurd amount of times (even if you're facing them). For it to work you need either the mobs to not attack or you character to parry or dodge the attack.

Thank u for ur update. Ya I would try like 10 full runs to be able to get the full breakdown average of loot. If u are a hunter u can also use ur pet to pull the first mobs far into that room run then feign death. When u mount up to the first mobs u want to make sure u are riding against that wall also with all max speed riding boost possible to help it go smoothly. Keep me posted as u get it mastered and have good bit of data on the loot I’m curious to hear ur findings

@@DaveTheGamer-detailedguides Yes I will go back and try pet pulling the first trash pull. Its definetly the part that slowed the whole process, made it less valuable ( repair bills getting constantly up) and ultimately made me heartstone out of anger lol. But important note personally is that AQ as been up for the past 5 weeks in my server (sulfuras) so the prices at the AH are definetly affected by that. Scarab mostly sell for 50s to 1g40 top. Ill keep u uptaded after a good farm session. Good job on the vids, the constant interaction you keep with your viewers and a big Happy birthday to you Dave!

For hunters I would say yes. It does depend on your server prices for larval acids and idols. Take my numbers I used plug in your server prices to get your server gold per hour

I would like to see perhaps farms that yield items which would rise in price either in phase 6 or even TBC. For example something like the Dire Maul East Arcane Crystal farm which'll yield a lot of gold for Phase 6 due to the Tier 3 Sets. BattleNet Tag - EndleBg#21199

My best trick for it is dying over and over again. I guess I really need those spurs? I have stopped trying to solo farm it, the drops are too varied imo anyways. I just stick around after all the aq20 runs im in and clear out all the larvae that are left. Aside from the fact that I am always in the same runs as another rogue who has figured the same thing out, it goes pretty well, few scarabs, idol or two and 3 larval acids. Even got a boe blue zone drop once. Much less frustrating that dying to those initial bugs who 'only hit you once maybe'. I have evasion up and carrot/glove enchant and still get hit several times.

Weird The mithril spurs def help and I assume I got epic mount. Another alternative is to kite them in a circle like a mage might in zg Big circle then run past first set of them. It def takes some practice to master it

@@DaveTheGamer-detailedguides I'll tell ya I tried that kite them in a circle method a bunch, and that one without fail didn't work. They would enrage within seconds every time, when that happens you die, quickly, and they close the gap so quickly that I don't think it ever works. It may be that if you get too far from them that they auto-enrage, I dunno that I wanna test it though to find out, perhaps though. And yeah definitely epic mount...about 5 hours after i hit 60 hehe.

You want at least like 3k health for if the first set of mobs hit u. But ya u could fresh green other than that though it might take u a little longer to kill so maybe only two runs an hour in the start so maybe only like 80g an hour I would guess

Do you think elemental water will go on price ive been farming it for 2 weeks now and have like 460 but in my realm they are worth 1g , they are use for frost resist potions , my goal is 3000 before naxx comes out, crazy but i like to see my bank full with stacks of mats

So I predict that it will turn out like large venom sac. They went from like 1g on my server I bought 2k of them. AQ released spiked to like 5g for 2 weeks then settled back at like 2g now. So I think the price will spike as people are learning how to do Naxx then go down a few weeks after once it is on farm

So I was thinking that but I think u need a thaw rune or something to actually get them off the walls and it is used up then. From what I understand most guilds will save those and get the frozen tunes their self for awhile to get frost resist gear for their who guild before just rolling them off. Now super later into phase 6 when frost resist isn’t as needed then it would be a solid farm then

@@DaveTheGamer-detailedguides Frost res will always be need for saph im pretty sure. All the same though many guilds will have rogues just do it for them off raid nights because they get more word of thawing than they can use. And you know as well as I do that some words will end up on ah!

I think the meta for tbc gold farming will be pally aoe boost since mage aoe is reduced damage but pally isn’t for some reason. That along with some mobs to farm I’m working on some guides now just for it you end up liking.
