Hey buddy, just stopping by to say awesome controller setting/aim vid! I have watched a lot of them as i've constantly been trying to improve my accuracy as I feel its one of my shortcomings in rivals and this video is one of the best ones ive came across I am going to test your settings and try to calibrate my sensitivity with the methods mentioned in this vid to try and get myself a bit more of an edge! I play on PS5, almost made it to Plat in Szn 0, hoping to be able to hit that in season 1 or even diamond! My accuracy is usually around 25-35% on average would love to start averaging around 35-50%. Thanks again!

@@dexterk.6344 thanks bro! Other than settings and practice, the best way to improve accuracy is aim more and shoot less (i.e. hit the trigger for each shot, don't hold down)

I just got a new controller bc the stick drift was so bad after 30 days of non-stop locked-in playing. Could be that if you're anything like me?

@do0Mbot i wish that was the problem but i dont have any drift. After update it feels like the deadzones and sensitivity settings in game are not working properly. Played overwatch for a little while to make sure i wasnt crazy and its definitely just a marvel rivals problem

Yo! I followed this (with a few personal tweaks) and this has improved my accuracy by so much. I followed a lot of the old video as well, this is definitely a noticeable improvement from my end. Playing on Xbox

I have aim assists windows size set to 0, it's like 3 lunas or a vanguard more or less and full 100 ease in I just like how it provides a smooth transition instead of a lock in/out experience. I'd like to see what tournaments players use the most for their aim settings that would be interesting

Idk but I’ve had deadzone issues ever since the update.. when I slightly tilt my right analog stick it feels like it’s skipping and it’s not smooth. I see a lot of others also have this issue. It’s almost impossible to make small adjustments with my aim. I’ve been forced to play characters like hulk lol. Anyone who doesn’t require aim.

I forgot to mention that but you're absolutely right I noticed that too in testing. The only way I found to stop it is use the exponential curve on at least a curve value of 7. But this feels very different than the type of aim curve I like so personally the tradeoff isn't worth it but it might work for you

It's because the game has deadzones on its axis. It makes the aiming feel square and not accurate

What helped me is make outer deadzone to one. It went back to normal. Not sure if it would help im on exponential ramp 2

U probably know this, but I saw from another vid that the max deadzone sens boost was actually bugged last season whereby it could activate in the middle of your deadzone, so if your aim was feeling swingy in S0 that was probably it. Also tysm for this guide, I have been playing on 300-400 sensitivity because I had no idea what max deadzone sens boost did!

That section where you try to keep reticle in the same spot while running left or right was so hard for me even with my preferred setting until I tried linear aim. I had a lot easier time aiming with that change. Now my starlords aim is 30% 😂😂😂

@@jamesford2192 most of my crosshair settings can be seen in the video if you pause on the settings screen. For the rest not shown, I have Width 25, Reticle Opacity 85, Outline Width 50, Outline Opacity 52, Blur 0, Center Gap 18. I left the Details section of each of these default.

@ So for the daily mission it requires you to get 10 assist I don’t know how to get them I thought helping your team kill enemies would give me it but everything time I do I end up with no assist that’s the question I was asking

@@JayRiley-z2u the fastest way to get assists is use a healing focussed character like Luna or Mantis and keep healing or damage buffing your dps and tanks. You'll get an assist if your heal or buff is active when they get a kill. Hope that helps

You can also get assists as Storm if your allies were affected by either your speed boost or attack boost when they get a KO!

@@Gibro. for me, I feel like the reticle is just everywhere. It constantly over corrects or slips off target. I’ve tried every curve and sensitivity and boost setting and I just never feel comfortable or confident getting into fights because I’m also fighting the aim. No matter how many “try these settings” videos I’ve watched lol, it all feels bad. I just think the controller play is poorly optimized. I primarily play on console and this is the worst a game with this much polish (in every other aspect) has ever felt to me. Bums me out, cause there’s a lot to like. Really goes to show how much Bungie just nailed making shooters feel great on controller.

12:20 Thor should always be in Thor Force mode. If you are just pounding with the hammer you are playing him wrong. Go Thor Force scramble some guys then pop your bubble (you get 1 hammer back for every enemy in it) and if you need to... wack with the hammer a couple of times then re-enter Thor Force....You should never be playing as unpowered Thor.

The hammer dash is underrated, and you can spam it much more often than the awakened state. It let's you maintain shields through extended fights without needing as much healing, can shove enemies away from teammates, and catch them in the air or while running away. The awakened state is great if you need to kill someone at range or just as fast as possible, but it can be risky as you lose the ability to disengage from the fight if things go bad.

I play on ps5 , I have victrix bfg controller and bro… I try absolutely everything you say , but the aim assist is (compared to cod ) absolutely between 10% and 5%. I can aim , i just don’t get why in this game , like ow2 is so low the aim assist.

because this game is about repositioning a lot more than cod. literally just think about it, most of the abilities in this game rely on you being hard to hit, what’s the point in being hard to hit when you can plug in a controller and just kill them. stop being lazy and just learn to aim better
