TRY THESE FIXES 1 CLOSE STEAM FULLY THROUGH TASK MANAGER 2 IN Properties enable steam input or try swapping to default setting 3 if steam is closed open it normally then task manger close it fully then run admin again if anything you figure out works plz put it in the comment section for other people thanks

theyve never made a game that included controller support, they wanted to make sure they did it correctly, thats why its not coming until console release, just use a mouse i promise you will be ok

It’s like going from listening to music to trying to play guitar. 😂 We shouldn’t have to worry about not being able to play on controller in this day and age. That’s just dumb. It’s a FPS. got it working but im having an issue when im in main lobby game the mouse pointer keeps moving by itself up.... but when i move the joystick it stops then again.... i think the mouse is interfering with the joystick? what is the solution how to make disable the mouse if im using joystick

@@GeneralZ go to the controller on steam edit the layout Step 1 edit layout Step 2 navigate to the right joystick Step 3 click the settings wheel next to it Step 4 go to deadzone tab Step 5 turn up the lower number until stick/mouse drift stops on the left hand side

the problem is even if you connect it you ain't gonna get aim assist. so aiming would be hell fs

@@Jeremy1awesome Really? My PS5 controller worked without issue. I just found a community layout I liked and switched some bindings around. Make sure its connected to the PC directly, I did have an issue when I connected through a USB hub.

Shouldnt have to do all this for a FPS in 2024. Controller support on PC should be a standard. Many people who upgrade to PC is not for K&M experience. It’s for performance & graphics. Otherwise we’d connect a keyboard to our consoles.. smh

Only elite 2 series use right stick act like mouse and Olso take the sensivity your mouse and also have sensvity for right stick and come with aim assist

@@TonyHsu make sure on steam on your right stick it says joystick and click the settings wheel next to right joystick and scroll down if it says its registered as a right joystick switch it to relative mouse and if that's doesn't fix it you can always just switch the joystick for joystick mouse

I’ve done all the same steps, force quit, run as admin, etc. The controller works with my layout, but once I actually get in Delta Force, it no longer registers. It’s just an observation that in the successful videos I’ve seen, it’s been PS controllers, not Xbox.
