this is the tower order 001 sub -> 100 heli -> sub to 301 -> heli to 200 -> 200 alc -> heli to 302 -> alc to 301 -> heli to 402 -> alc to 401 -> 220 vil -> heli to 502 -> vil to 230 -> 023 glue (strong)

For those inexplicably losing on Round 99, the most likely reason is forgetting to set your Glue Gunner to Strong. It is also possible to upgrade the 023 Glue Gunner to 024 and he still won't steal any pops but he'll provide a bit more security, just don't go all the way to 025 or he will steal too many pops and the achievement will be lost. For super security, you can even get the Village to 240 and use CTA when needed, but that is extra micro and this strategy should still work solidly without it.

You'll also gain enough money to get Permabrew in the late 90s, but again this strategy should work just fine without it.

You can also just throw in a 040 ninja away from the track and use the ability. Two is even better so you can have more uptime on the ability. Just don't upgrade to 0-5-0. I wouldn't call CTA/Sabo micro if the actual timing doesn't matter. It's micro if you need to use the abilities on specific rounds at specific times, but not if you're just free to spam.

Thanks got it in 2 attempts only reason the first attempt failed was because I wasn't thinking and upgraded the glue gunner to tier 5 since I had the extra money and the jerk ended up sniping over 100k pops from my heli just barely missing the achievement

Strat confirmed working, 29/May/2021 Some minor tweaks though, on my run: - Round 98, upgrade Alchemist 501 - Round 99, upgrade Glue Gunner 024 Note: don't get 025 glue as that will steal pops from the heli, as other comments have said. Cheers chap 🍻

Used this exact strat on Logs and it worked perfectly first time, as I already had Resort compeleted on CHIMPS. All towers placed around the central pond. Great stuff!

Note: this works on just about any map with water and is somewhat long so if you dont have chimps unlocked on the specific map, you do not need to grind that map to get chimps unlocked on it

As of Update 31/ 24th of May 2022, this *almost* works. I found that adding some more 024 glue gunners around the map, boosted with 420 monkey villages, plus an extra 401 alchemist on the Apache, it works, if a bit sketchy on the Fortified DDT round. DON'T upgrade the glue gunners to xx5, as that makes them start doing damage to MOAB-classes. Thank you Ethan for the (almost) perfect guide!

I lost on wave 99 with this strategy (I really don't know how or why), but is better to upgrade the village to 2-4-0 (and usig its ability when it can be neccesary) after placing the 0-2-3 glue gunner and for more security it can help using more glue gunners (as long as they have not acid upgrades).

I can confirm that this still works even in the newest update, update 30.0 You can use a 052 glue bc the money is there and it doesnt do damage, so it will make rounds like 100 easier with the +2 damage

Apache prime is easily the best attacking 5th tower in the game. It can solo a BAD if the map is big enough, and its not that expensive. Plus the entire path is pretty powerful and useful bc of the pursuit and Apache dartship

Looks like the cost of the 3rd tier sub increased. So I purchased the 200 alchemist before I got quad darts. By the end of 28 i could purchase pursuit. Other cost changed a bit but this one would affect round 28 if the order was not changed. 301 sub in the video the costs are - T1: $140 -> T2: $540 -> T3: $540 In patch 44 ( - T1: $140 -> T2: $540 -> T3: $720

It still works, but after you got that gluegunner you shouldn't be upgrading anything, because the glue gunner will get too many pops, if you think it is close you may want to upgrade him in round 100 or at least as late as possible. The last 50% of pops will be in the last 6 or so rounds, so any tower will steal more of them by sheer chance.
