I don't care how long they are... I enjoy every moment watching your videos. I ALWAYS learn something wonderful I can share with others and spread some love! Jennifer, I don't think a sane person on earth would mind the time. You're such a creative and emotionally inspirational person that there isn't a such thing as "too much time" spent with you!

Jennifer, this was an EXCELLENT video for several reasons: 1. You demonstrated how you made the basic inking2. You showed us the results and explained why you wiped the card with a clean, dry cloth and explained why rubbing down in the direction you did.3. You showed us each card4. You showed the components for each card on the screen as you held up each card5. You brought up each card closer to the camera and held it there so we could read the sentiments that you used6. You explained why you cut the sides of the card down7. You showed us how and why to color the card base using the same color of Distress Ink. Extremely informative and inspiring! Hugs, Beth

All gorgeous Jennifer, you were a busy bee! I really love this technique, I'll be going through all my stamp sets, backgrounds and stencils to try this out. I'm not a big fan of fussy cutting myself but if I didn't have the supplies I would cut away to get this beautiful look. ;) I love when your videos are longer just means I'm going to learn a new trick and see more of your beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing and always inspiring.

Oh my goodness! Love, love this video. Another of your videos I have to "save". lol. It's so strange...and coincidental...Kristina Werner had a similar video this very day! Except she used the distress inks as an ombre effect FIRST on the layering piece. Then she used a stencil and used a darker ink to distress over the inked portion. She did so in a blending of different shades, such as tumbled glass, salty ocean, then chipped sapphire...or picked raspberry, wilted violet, then seedless preserves. I had to spin my chair around and do one of her cards IMMEDIATELY! Loved the process. And I'll be doing that right now with your technique! I think it's great that both of these videos are simple, yet can be so varied with the colors and sentiments...and also...that most of us have the supplies you and Kristina are using. At least in one form or another. For instance...even though I don't have a lot of background stamps, I do have stamps that I could use FOR backgrounds, by stamping them several times! I appreciate the technique of using embossing as a resist. Thanks Jennifer for sharing your gift of creativity and teaching with us! God bless you! I will be making lots and lots of these cards...at least the first step... then finishing them up as needed for many different occasions...Friends, Sympathy, Thinking of You...etc.

These are gorgeous, Jennifer! And I really like how you make it so we don't have to have exactly what you're using -- you give us alternatives -- as well as your supply list if we want to duplicate your items. I'm just getting started. Thanks so much.

you completely made my dreary ohio day! I received the wishes die and dot moire? the blue one from the mft video for xmas. I called my husband at work I got so excited about this glorious video. I was searching for the video not remembering till I found it in the mft video. my husband even remembered cause he ordered the items because he happened to remember my showing him the blue wishes card. he said valentine's day early and had me order 5 background stamps and some mft (the company this time) cardstock. it's only my 2cd time ordering from them. I got free shipping and a really neat die for ordering. after the discount I was under my $100 budget so he was happy too! I make cards for his work. so these are right up my mass producing ally and I already have distress inks. it really is my favorite video of yours since following you and Kristina for the last 10 years. I spent the afternoon in between running my kids to trumpet and percussion lessons, looking thru all my stamps and dies. found many stamps that will work also. JUST THE BEST! thanks again jennifer
