MY SKIN TYPE ▹
My skin is dry and sensitive to malassezia - I get fungal acne on my forehead. My main skin concerns are dryness, congestion, and PIE (post inflammatory erythema). You may have a different experience with a product I mention if you have a different skin type or preference. My reviews and opinions are based on my personal experience.

if ur curious my skincare routine is vanicream cleanser, paula's choice bha once/ twice a week, and cerave baby moisturizing cream. only water and moisturizer in the morning :) I can't go overboard with products due to the many sensitivities I have (FA, dermatitis, ezcema), but this is the most constant my skin has been in about 7 years!

@KiMcHi FriEd SpRiTe No worries! I'm almost done with the moisturizer and have really liked it. I only used it in the morning though, and since I layer sunscreen on top I don't notice any sticky residue. I find that it's not moisturizing enough to use at night so I can see how some people might have issues with a sticky residue.

Love the Humane toner 1-2 times a week. I'm alternating with Shea Terra's willow bark & azelaic acid gel. The azelaic acid really helps with redness too! Doesn't seem like there's a lot of azelaic acid products that are fungal acne safe out there so leaving this comment for anyone else looking for azelaic acid that is affordable.

I really love your routine and the products you use. I was recently diagnosed with seb derm and I'm trying to build a skincare routine that's SD-safe, and it's looking something like yours (except the moisturizer step- I want to try the Benton aloe propolis gel & the Isntree fresh green tea emulsion). I have dehydrated skin so I'm trying to focus heavy on hydration too. I already tried the hada labo premium lotion and I don't think my skin likes it, I feel like it triggers a flare, I just can't place my finger on what's wrong. I really wanted to love it, maybe I have a fake product. So I've decided to hold off for now till I build up my skin barrier, and try the Cosrx snail mucin essence in the meantime.

You need to check the ingredients, a lot of people on youtube covering fungal acne claims it's safe. Avoid the hada labo lotion with milk, that's not acne safe according to skincarisma. I tried hada labo light lotion and it's like putting water on the face so it doesn't help as the treatments from shampoo are super dry. I read on Skincarisma that the old version of hada labo premium lotion is safe but I havent tried. Some claim it has urea which helps with the yeast infection
