Thanks for detailing what's good raw damage vs elemental, that mounting damage works that way, and I have done the dodge slash only on accident until today. You are highly under rated my dude.

I think I may have been using IG wrong this whole time.... I never stay grounded and tend to focus a lot on monsters backs, wings, and tails. But I get hit A LOT. I find this play style really interesting, though. Might have to start practicing more ground play.

Finished the main story with LS, got bored tried IG, BOY that shit is very fun. Gone are the days of fighting flying wyverns by spamming flash pod, or desperately trying to hit it with overhead attacks.

Ok interesting! My friend who mains insect glaive told me the light attack combo was stronger but I’m using a raw build and noticed the O(heavy?) combo was significantly stronger so now it all makes more sense :D

When you mount a monster that is so satisfying thing. On RISE edition it kind of boring

It's fun flying through the air but sadly most of your damage comes from your ground combos. Ariel attacks are helpful to mount once or twice or if your fighting a monster that flys around the fight a lot

@@ImpulsiveLimbo: That's exactly what you do, mount monsters knock them down, make sure to have your bug bars all powered up so when you attack their head you'll do twice the damage and break stuff, usually about a few combos and a dive down onto the monster I'm able to break a horn.

How do you do the powerup Kinsect move ON PC. No one has told me how to, no one seems to know, and ALL the other guides only talk about the moves on PS4 controller. I play on the PC. What even IS a controller?

Andre Huffman The default would be hold c + click left and right mouse key at the same time. You need a slinger ammo to do it, or else it will not work ^^

Question, how come with every hit you do theres big red line flashes? Im still new to the game I recently picked up this weapon and was wondering what it was.

@Twii Vaati The big red line flashes indicates that you are dealing critical damage :D, when there is no red line flashes, it means you are not dealing critical damage.

@@Claytonbeastboy dont go too close to the monster when trying to pull off Endless Rush, IG have a long hitbox so you can maintain a good distance, too close will make you move away from monsters. dont worry you'll get used to it soon when you keep on doing it

Zo If you finished the story already, you can start making builds. It does not matter what you want for the skills, as long as you have fun its all that matters.

Go for viper kadachi as your main glaive, and once you unlock raging brachy make his glaive and his armor

Yes it should be available as long as you own iceborne, but if you don’t have iceborne I’m not quite sure about that.

If you are talking about the blue thing, yes, it is only available to the Final Fantasy Weapon in Insect Glaive

Yes they are part of the moveset, but since they benefit the kinsects more than your normal combo, I inputed it in the Kinsect tutorial rather than here :)
