✨ updated kpop shelf tour & album collection ✨

I never thought that I could find someone else who collects the same way as I do in the kpop world because normally you hear "I collect *group names*" but I do it the same way as you do. The songs/albums I like, I buy. Same as western music listeners do. I am building up a collection I am proud of showing, even to non kpoppies, bc explain to a local "I dont like this album but I bought it anyway bc I collect them" even I feel like its a waste of money at this point, so I collect all over the place. I love supporting the album or the group I enjoy listening to and if it turns out to have their whole discography it may be so. I like having albums from differnt groups not only of 3 or 4 groups. I am glad I do it this way because if I commit myself to one specific group but I enjoy another group at the same time more but cant get it because i get the album from the group I commited myself to although i enjoy the new one more, doesnt sound good to me. And when I want to go back after a while and purchase that and its sold out/our of print, I would get really mad. My collection may be all over the place for kpoppies but I love it this way. My collection just represents my music taste.

sorry for the belated reply - and yes!! I don’t think there’s any right or wrong way to collect albums (or at all in general!) but this is just a way of collecting that makes me happy and free of obligation 😊

seeing your full seventeen colection has me JEALOUS!!!! I've managed to snag only a few albums before they went out of print and I was just wondering, did you get yours before they went out of print or did you just find them?? if I do, they're like boreding 100$ and I love seventeen but not that much-
