Your lecture series on latex has just helped me through my first E-book on Mathematics. Only your explaination is clear enough to help me through this in a very short time . Thanks so much!!

5:53 Extra tip: instead of clicking on B, press Ctrl and B. (For italics, Ctrl and I.) Thank you, Michelle. You've been saving my life for years now :-).

Thanks for this great Latex tutorial series. I had always shied away from Latex thinking it was too hard and complex. You are a good teacher, you made latex concepts simplified for me to understand. Thank you

Thanks for the great tutorial. I was hoping you would say something about the "Bibliography" as I am looking for hints on how to use Zotero with LaTeX. Would you by any chance have it explained in another video? Thanks.

Thank you for the quality content, I appreciate it. I have a request, in your videos you've covered many aspects of writing with Latex but not different types of documents. Some of us are looking to write a research paper or a letter, etc. Personally, I am considering writing my thesis using Latex, and if I am not mistaken there are different types of documents that are preconfigured using some commands. I know that I could find a tutorial elsewhere, but I trust this would be a great addition to your playlist since most of us prefer the way you lay things out.

Towards the end of the video you mentioned uploading a tex file to Canvas. What would be the purpose of this? For your students to download the file and possibly work on it? I am asking because I always wished the Canvas editor recognized tex commands (apart from the rudimentary eqn editor). Is tex compatible with Canvas in some other way?

If they upload a TeX file to Canvas for me, it is because it is a coding assignment, and I will open the file to make sure it compiles as part of their grade. I wish Canvas had better LaTeX integration!!!

Great tutorial, but I have a BIG question. Is there a way to multiply the mouse cursor on different lines in Texmaker? Because you can do it in Overleaf if you hold "ctrl" and then click as many times as you want, buuut you can't do it in Texmaker the same way and I'd really like to know if there's a way to do it because it really helps a lot.

I've never heard of that. What is the purpose of doing that?

Let's suppose you're creating a long table with lots of data or maybe you're drawing a figure with tikz, so you realize that you need to fix something in some lines and you need to delete and write the same thing in all those lines, so it's very annoying to do it line by line, but with this function, you can multiply the mouse cursor and write the same thing in all the lines you want at the same time and you can gain time because you just wrote a simple text which was multiplicated in lots of lines.
