After looking at Countless other gurus collection, Lauren's is perfectly sized & organized. It may be more than the average woman like me but it does not look like too much compared to others & it is her job & she actually has worked in makeup. Gurus have drawers upon drawers of lipsticks & blushes which is ridiculous

I totally agree! Some gurus feel the need to buy every eyeshadow/liner/blush/lippie of every line of every brand that ever comes out, which I will never understand! Like, I've seen heard so many gurus be like "Well, I don't like this shade at all, but I got it so you guys could see. Then I'll probably throw it out or something." I will never see the point in that!

I'm only a couple minutes in, but do you know what I appreciate? Instead of saying "this is *my* MAC/Benefit/NARS/etc. _____" you say "This is *the* ______" It truly gets on my nerves when beauty gurus do that, so I found the lack of it in this video refreshing :)

To be honest, they have bought it, so saying it to show possession shouldn't really get on your nerves that much. Whens someone buys a new bed they don't say : ''This is the bed'' because it sounds unnatural. I suppose you should have the same concept with any item that belongs to you.

SailorMoonAMV Larger items that come in smaller quantities, like beds, cars, televisions. and so on, usually preceded by a "my". But for beads or colored pencils, for example, it would be odd to refer to each single piece as belonging to you. You would say "these are my beads/colored pencils/etc." and leave it at that. "This is my makeup works fine". But each individual makeup item, especially when there's upwards of a thousand, it gets excessive saying "my" because it's already assumed.

Yeah, it is pretty cool, just don't watch too much of it or you won't get tingles anymore, and if you happen to watch too much, then just find another trigger. Another one I suggest is VioletsVoice, she has an amazing whisper, oh yeah, and just use headphones!

a little tip for your makeup wipes, if you find they are dry! Try storing them upside down with the label on the bottom. The moisture sits at the bottom, so by storing it upside down the moisture will go to the top wipe :)

I think of makeup collections as just that - a collection. You wouldn't tell a stamp collector, "You're never going to use all those stamps!" It's fun to look at, play with, and (bonus!) you can actually use makeup!

Not only that but makeup companies give her stuff for free as well because they sponsor her, PLUS she spends a LOT of her money on makeup instead of other things, she's obviously going to have a huge collection. I find it mildly disturbing that all these so called "gurus" on youtube need to put out a disclaimer on all their "makeup collection" videos or similar ones. Can't someone have a large collection of make up and not be judged? How is it any different from having a sticker collection or barbie collection as a kid? Hell, how is it any different from having a rock collection? They worked hard for it, they all deserve it. They didn't steal money or kill someone for it.

why have such a huge collection ? There is no way you would be able to utilize it all before it even expires. I think having a small collection is fine but such a large extravagant collection is just unnecessary and pointless because the point of buying makeup is to use it and I'm positive there's no way you can or would use all those products. Once you gather a sizable collection of eyeshadow (singles, paletts, drugstore, high-end) you already have variations and dupes of pretty much every color in the Naked range. They're really nice, but the colors are pretty basic and someone with a collection half the size of Lauren's probably wouldn't get much use out of them.
