I just learned that index cards fit in a pocket binder. This is relevant to me because an index card is how I organize my ( active)retiree day. I use an A5 binder on my desk for goals, lists, projects. And a Hobonichi Weeks for my Every Day Carry in my daypack / music bags, for scheduling.. But even that is too big for carrying around all day long, most days I use an index card and tiny pen to plan out my schedule, top proirities and add random notes. I just keep a pile of them around, because of course stuff needs to get migrated, a pocket binder could be an (unnecessary) fun binder system.

We’re twins! Except I use sticky notes and have them everywhere. I even have one on the shelf outside of the shower. I seem to use that one the most 😂 I do lug my Weeks around everywhere though. But around the house is a different story. Sometimes I need to get the fleeting thought written down right then before it’s gone forever!

I had a chuckle when you mentioned you don’t get many of the cute options. I’m in New Zealand, and my closest Amazon is in Australia, and there’s only free shipping on some products when it’s over 59AUD. Not complaining, just amused lol

I will never ever get rid of my A5 leather ring binder, it's versatile I can cram alot of stuff in it. I am not bound to a notebook and or tear it up when I don't want a certain something in there. Just like yours.. LOL! 😁

I've been looking at that exact Ashford (and the same in Mini 5) for aaages! I've got a Davinci Roroma Classic that I adore, I'm so happy with the strap closure (like the Brelio) and the adjustable pen loops. They're pricy, especially since I have to pay 25% VAT on non-EU imports, but Japanese binders are soooo nice. I haven't even started looking at Korean brands yet, I'm low-key scared to 😂

I think they're popular to whomever enjoys using them. To me, I think rings have been popular every year...Just depends on the user and community. They're definitely still popular overseas.
