Updated Reborn and Silicone Collection - All My Babies Together!

I finally get all my babies together in one video to show you my complete personal collection (not counting the babies in my daughter's collection). My current collection consists of 7 silicones and 8 reborns. None of the babies are for sale -- this video is just to share who I have in my nursery right now.

That's a nice collection, thanks for sharing. Noah is my fave, I think. Also really like your saskia Emily with painted hair. When I first saw the prototype pics for Isla, I thought the little girl holding her was the portrait child, but then I realized she's older than Audrey lol!

Yes, there are a couple photos on Andrea's website. The younger girl (age 3) with the messy hair is my Audrey when she was younger. The older girl is Jadyn, the daughter of another collector. :)

How do you think Maggie feels compared to ecoflex 10? Does she even feel like ecoflex or is it a totally different feeling?

Great question! I haven't felt an ecoflex 10 baby but I would say that her silicone feels very similar to the silicone that Jennie Lee and Noe Art Dolls uses. I had a chance to see babies from both of these artists at the doll show and it was very soft and buttery. Premium Maggie's is the same way. Andrea's regular ecoflex is also very soft but a little bit firmer. Hope this helps :)

wow, lot's of babies. I'm just starting, out of all your dolls, my favorite is baby saskia, painted hair. I bought one very similar and I just love her to bits, she's so babyish which is what I wanted. I call her Tina Rose. My other 4 are also saskias, each one different, more toddler looking though, cause they have hair, all girls. I changed one's gender but now she's back to being a girl for the second time, prefer her as a girl, much prettier. I am just wondering though, of all the saskias I bought, only one has smooth vinyl arms, legs and head, the others are rough feeling, I wonder why. Would you know? They're still beautiful mind you, but think I like the smoother vinyl don't you? Seems more realisitic. Let me know what you think ok? thanks. I would love to see more videos on Liam by Bonnie Brown if you have him and I think you do right? I am having one made, she should be ready in a couple of weeks. I hope the artist does exactly as the picture I gave her. So no. 10 is another Saskia? Hope you make a video with her, love the Saskia.

Hi there, the roughness or smoothness is due to the varnish used. Most heat set painted dolls use a matte varnish that's a bit rougher in texture. And so sorry, I do not have Liam. I painted one for a customer in the past.

Hi Portia! The best thing to do is to research the silicone artists on Facebook and try to follow them. Many of them do accept layaway payments. One artist I'm ordering a baby from is Cat Johnson. She does accept payments and has a few dolls for sale. xoxo

Silicones are definitely a lot higher maintenance than reborns. I mostly keep them wrapped up in a blanket or displayed in the Moses basket (well, that's Maggie's spot right now :). They do need to be powdered occasionally and you have to be more careful when you dress them too.

ooh sorry , just a personal thing I have with everyone who has one (the saskia kit :-/ ) Bonnie Brown is one of the best sculptors of reborns in the world , I like all of her kits except this one :-P but the rest of your babies are so real and gorgeous !!!! Don`t feel offended ;-)

I appreciate your concern for the babies' hair. Jenna's hair was too difficult to manage so I sold her on a while ago. Baby Lynn is not in this video (this is an older video from last September). Are you referring to another baby? I try not to brush my silicone babies' hair very much because it is not sealed on the inside and can come out very easily. This is one of the reasons I really like painted hair or the applied hair that is more fixed. It's much easier to keep neat!
