The Intuit Dome is going to be the best and most exiting new arena of the past decade (in a 10 year period that has seen the opening of Chase Center, Fiserv Forum, Golden 1 Center). The way Steve Ballmer has described this arena with all of the new technology, self-serve food, the halo-scoreboard, and "Wall of Noise" will surely be a place that many basketball fans from any team will want to experience at least once

Oklahoma City is starting a large renovation for the Paycom Center. It will include replacing the seats, new bunker suites, renovating the existing suites, new scoreboard, new concessions, and technology upgrades. The renovation started in 2022 and will go through 2028. The new scoreboard is expected for the 2023-24 season. The firm that is designing the upgrades is Populous. Sports Business Journal reported in March 2022 that the New Orleans Pelicans are in very early stages of a potential new long term home. Although they are going to do some minor upgrades in the current building, the talk of a new long term home usually means new arena.

Love your videos, but I don't think you know enough about Philly to know how bad for the city that 76ers arena would be. It's so bad for Chinatown, crime is getting worse in that area, and nobody wants it there. It'll also be a traffic nightmare and they want to encourage more people to take SEPTA into the city which nobody wants to do anymore because it has gotten so unsafe. Not only that, but we actually love the Wells Fargo Center here and we love the fact that the Flyers and Sixers play in the same arena. Think of Philly fans as the old guy who yells at kids to get off his lawn that doesn't like change. We don't care about flashy arenas and the renovations we got are great! So yes, we actually want them to keep playing at Wells Fargo with the Flyers & Wings.

76 Arena is super small. The max footprint over that site is 400' x 500' over an active road. This arena would require closing businesses in an active mall including an AMC Movie Theater as well as relocation of a Greyhound Bus Terminal. This looks like a poorly thought out idea.

I am a Philadelphian, and I welcome the arena. I am so sick of hearing all the blah...blah... lame excuses as to why it will not work. Cities that are far larger than Philadelphia have figured it out. It is not that hard, just lame excuses. Interesting fact, teams with downtown arenas seem to be the most successful too.
