I still wish someone would make an updated Physical Rosaria guide. I don't care that it is "not optimal." Her normals are far too strong to relegate her into a Burst bot character.

I have to agree. I like her as DPS, it seems almost all spear wielders are relegated to the burst bleachers. I like to run her with Raiden for the easy Superconduct reaction. I built her physical. All my ER spears are on other busters lol

For physical her best weapon is is Jade wing, if you dont have it go for crescent spike, NOT the dragonspine. X2 phys artifacts, shimenawa and x4 pale are good too, but you can give the atk bonus trough supps so dont kill yourself on a full set.

@@Akaishu294 I'm not sure that's actually true. Most of the calculations of Crescent Spike vs Dragonspine are from the perspective that Rosaria's best role is burst bot, not superconducting main DPS. Crescent spike has much weaker strikes overall, even though there are more, but with its higher base attack Rosaria's burst is more powerful. Dragonspine hits very hard, and Rosaria's attacks aren't limited to single-target damage.

To anyone thinking about playing Rosaria, I got her from Kokomi banner when wishing for Kokomi, I got many constellations and decided to raise her and never regretted it. One thing to note is her short distance blink with her skill, which is highly underrated since she can cheese so many bosses while being a safe distance away from them. Overall amazing character

I've personally been using her with Scara because she has an easy time giving him the cryo buff + allows me to run low crit rate & invest more into crit damage. The off field damage she brings is a nice extra too.

yes, Flex slot+Rosa+Miku/Kazuha/Venti+Wanderer is such an amazing exploration team, I use it on abyss or domain too and it didn't disappoint. I'm so glad I got Scara when I was aiming for Miku cons. Honestly I would have skip him if it wasn't for Xiao needing Miku C6

@@blastpotion No one. I try to save my free dodge procs for when an attack is coming. It's harder to play that way for sure though. I'm not quite sure i'm gnna stick with Rosaria though since I do want to eventually build Layla. But Rosaria has a much easier time getting cryo applied for the passive and overall adds more damage to the team with the tradeoff of being harder to play due to no shields. My problem with Layla is that her cryo application is a bit wonky sometimes, It's a bit harder to get the cryo buff.

@@blastpotion It all depends on whether you are going for overworld or abyss. For overworld, you could swap Bennet for another ice shielder and just go along with the cryo bugf. For abyss, the Rosalia buff won't work anyways so there's less merit in swapping the team.

Rosaria is easily in my top ten characters, and I use her all the time in Abyss. She's very flexible, deals high damage, and her crit sharing mechanics is honestly amazing. I farm the emblem domain the most, so her and Xiangling are among my best built and deadliest characters! I really wish I could try and finally get her C5 on Ayato's banner, but with Hu Tao and Yelan coming in a month, I'll need all the primos I can have. Good luck to anyone pulling, you won't regret getting her!

Something you missed that I discovered by accident. Superconduct boosts the damage of the pearl from the clam set. I've been having a lot of fun with Raiden, Rosaria and Barbara as a result.

Cool tech for Rosaria in Eula teams. If you want to swap off Eula's burst early switch to Rosaria and use her skill. She will teleport to the enemy and Eula's burst will follow. It can be useful for trying to take out a priority target or chasing down an enemy that moves out of your range.

she's great. Her crit buff basically ensures she will never be irrelevant in this game. The only small sad part about her is when you do E, but she gets knocked out of it and you don't get any particles

i just watched the shenhe guide, came running to rosaria since she is one of my favorite on and off field dps. i use her physical and when you said you didnt recommend normal attacks i was kinda stunned since i thought with her cons she gives a phys decrease on enemies and well... i just wanna say that using her with eula in the abyss has made me clear it when sometimes eula dies bc of my poor dodging skills. but overall i love your videos!! they are so complete and your calming voice is a great addition!

Thanks for taking the time to put rosaria back into the light. I had her built as a Phys Carry since her launch but she never see use anymore because Eula is better in everyway. So a couple months ago u rebuilt her as a burst support and love it. I have her C6 with exactly 100% (I dont want to have to play around her A1 passive. I typically use her to support Eula now or Yoimiya. 15% party crit is nice and her reverse melt dmg is pretty good. Since rebuilding her she's actually become a main support for my yoimiya team in the abyss.

In terms of normal attacks, Xiangling is the duellist, while Raiden Shogun has the wide coverage to fight many at once. Rosaria is perfectly balanced right in the middle. When forced to chase around opponents like the Ruin Serpent, I pair her with Keqing for their hit & run playstyles.

One of the last great generalist 4 star that we got in the game Her element make her compatible with many great team characters such as Ganyu/Ayaka on freeze, Bennett and XL on melt, and Eula on physical or generalist quick swap team. She can deal decent damage or support other to deal more damage, decent burst duration and a massive (up to) 30% crit value buff to all character in her team (which is underrated btw) which is almost comparable to the like of specific C6 buffer (Gorou and Faruzan 40% crit value buff) tho only half as much as Sara buff. I love pairing her with Wanderer when I'm using Bennett in the other party for the 20% crit rate buff on cryo absorb and extra 15% crit from her burst and either Zhongli for shield against boss or XQ/Yelan against mob for freeze. Against single target Yelan prob a better sub dps while XQ for better survivability but against many enemies like floor 12 then Rosa AOE is much appreciated

SInce I've had C6 Rosaria for a while, I usually run her with Eula, especially in the Abyss (Ganyu and Ayaka get to be partners in the other half). But since Wanderer dropped, I've been using him and Rosaria together so I can just stack crit damage on my build.

Since released, I'm a huge fan of hers. I played her since low AR up until the arrival of Yoimiya. She was my open world main dps (physical) and she never disappointed me in that rôle. Paired with Lisa and Cresent pike she really made in work. At that time for abyss she was my freeze main dps, combine with Chongyun, Xingqui & Jean she was making the dream work ! I still use her nowadays, although she is more of a burst support in reverse melt scenario where she caps my Xiangling to 100% crit. A really well rounded character that is still viable as a physical dps for open world !

I'm glad that Rosaria is still good no matter what because I still remember that she was my I finally got my revenge pull when I couldn't get another ice character. As for the builds good that they're simple for the most part and they actually work, although for mine I always have her with the dragon spine spear. The big reason why is because I love how it looks on her and it definitely suits her esthetic a lot more than any other spear. Artifacts though I think I run her with the gambler set because it works a little bit well with her but I might try end play around with some other artifacts if I do get other ones and finally in terms of teams I think I set minds up with Ayaka and Mona. With double ice she's able to like get her burst a lot quicker and with water I'm able to conduct freeze making it a little bit easier to stop certain enemy types. Overall a very nice return overview of rosaria and it is nice to have you back and I hope you had a good break and holiday Sevy! And I made it without even mentioning how hot Rosaria's voice is......damn it lol.

When first released, Rosaria was said to be on the level of Kaeya in terms of purpose, but I always thought that was BS. Crit Rate sharing is actually rather insane as a passive ability, allowing freeze teams to basically ignore crit entirely. Not just on freeze teams, but reverse melt teams too. Not to mention shredding phys resistance as a bonus for use in superconduct teams. Her damage is rather stable and high too…

I have been sleeping on Rosaria for god know how long 😢 and I have her at C3! (I don’t really looking at characters’ constellations since I didn’t pull much and idk a thing about theory crafting and scared of spiral abyss for stupid reasons lol) She’s in my build list now. Most of my 5stars are very much well built but skill issues and half ass built 4stars are the reasons I still can’t 36-star. I would say I’m pretty late to the spiral abyss, I just tried it out like a month ago and I’m ar57 lmao. And to Sevy! I swears by my gacha luck you are the reason I 9-star floor 11! I love her with diona and a pyro on a melt team, my diona c6 with rosaria helps boost reaction damage and I often run an anemo as well for consistent melt

It may not be optimal, but I run her with Ayato/Venti/Diona she provides great buff to Ayato's DPS, crazy freezing on all mobs and the burst will hit when Venti has them grouped up which is even more DPS for Ayato due to VV set and the Quadratic scaling from the enemies being stacked. It's not my go-to team, but I love this team a lot and find it can complete a lot of content with ease.

Did not expect Rosaria to be discussed 'now' of all times. What was your motivation, I wonder? Imo, Rosaria is an alternative to Kaeya. She has crit bonus, movespeed bonus at night, and a wider cryo pulse in her burst. I am a Kaeya fan, and I admit she has more mechanical advantages over him. I have no opinion on their scaling, because I have not tested them myself.

I love Rosaria, one of the most comfy comps that I use her is the double hydro freeze. Just slap XQ Yelan and Diona or an Anemo and use her as a driver for a crazy freeze team since she can keep reapplying cryo real fast.
