"stand in the big purple circles..." There are about three different circles in different shades of purple. An arrow pointing to the purple circles you are referring to would be helpful.

i was just thinking the same thing, they randomly throw every mechanic they thought of to make the last boss fight hard enough. I guess that's what happens when you fire the real minds behind the game and keep clowns in charge for 10 years.

4:49 just to add something... u can stand over the little "stars" after the "lines"... not necessarily on the "lines"... that will allow your melee dps/tanks to attack the boss while he is still channeling the mechanic. I've seen multiple times that players run close to the pillars cuz they think its safer. Just pay attention to the floor. Its not hard to see if you know what u gotta look for.

Even easier than a visual: if you're *not* getting pushed back by the winds, you're safe! The safety lines extend nearly the entire platform!

Where are the white safety beams on the floor you need to stand on in phase 3? All I see is purple, more purple and gold? Are you talking about the purple think in the middle of the floor?

Currently progressing on heroic. How do people handle the adds in P2 that need to be dragged through shit to drop their buff? Are we just ignoring it and CCing/murdering them? Our tanks focus way too much on running them through shit and it makes it very hard to have good uptime.on them and the boss.

Hey I asked Zax if he had any advice and this is what he wrote: "Can pretty much ignore it if you have enough damage. That’s what you have to do in p3 anyway. Also if you tank the boss in the blossoms or really close to them, the adds will spawn in the blossom or really close and it’s ezpz. Could also use knockbacks to get the adds in there a little easier."

Pull the boss to the inner circle with your raid standing between the boss and the edge of the room to bait the breath. The adds will already spawn on a void surface and all you'll have to do is wait for the boss to move back

So I conveyed the message to my RL about not knocking them back and just waiting for the blue to spawn under them and nuke them. P2 was much smoother, there wasn't whit everywhere and we killed the boss last night. Ty all

Just to give you an answer to that: Then you are not standing in the beam. As someone mentioned before - if you are not moving on your own anymore, you are in the right position. If you are outside of the beam, you will be thrown off.

Why tell people to stand in the fire breath when they can use the disintegrate for far less damage?

It is the opposite, you want fire breath, but not the “ first wave “ you dip in a few second after he started it. Check the text it’s much much less damage than the initial damage on breath and the beam

Yeah David got it right. You’d prefer to take 1 tick from breath, then mass dispel.

Disintegrate is far more damage, not less.

Also, disintegrate put a slow on the player. If you just take 1 tick of fire (run in/out, don't stand on it) then have a mass dispel on the group that just soaked the fire, the overall damage is less. But if anyone stands in the fire for the full duration, they will likely die.

I skipped all this content. Before new exp pack, i decided to come back and joined my friends, and all i got is this awakened shitshow i had to go through now. Random mechanics thrown all over the place just to make the fight harder, who the fuck is sarkareth anyway? and why its fight is harder and more complicated than Arthas?
