He has to hit them 4 times each time slowly hurting them. Once your friends go down eggman can’t use the sniper to finish him off.

This cutscene is completely avoidable if you perfect parry everything and you only die like this if you have less than 100 rings.

That is what you get when you desensitize your gamers, they expect tips everywhere. I asked for a true Hard Mode. They delivered quite well. Sure, the final boss does have some jank, BUT they delivered.

I genuinely loved that scene when I first saw it, I was losing my shit the whole fight, and the thing is, I died once, and that was because I didn't know about dodging to remove the cable

Still doesn’t beat the funny death in the original End boss fight of Super Sonic Slamming into the surface of the End. Sadly it’s one you probably will not fail by accident because they give you too much time to get all 3 QTEs right.

@@Handepsilon how do you get that far into Frontiers without knowing how to press the button when the line is in the red zone despite it showing up on all the other Titans and Big’s Fishing? Plus they give you a good 10-15 seconds each time before the failed death scene happens.

@@Superstarzs2000 Well uh.... in all honesty, the graphic was different. It was more of a meter than a circle. I think it was also blue zone instead of red? Honestly I'd rather not ask him too much about it.

Parts of this update show that SEGA are in fact listening to criticism. Albeit with a slight catch. I felt the difficulty could’ve been toned down and would’ve liked the playable characters to be a little more useful in combat. Long story short…I’m happy! I’ll be watching SEGA’s future mainline Sonic Games with great interest.
