pro tip if your using this strat on terminus in the beamsmasher room on round 15 and need parasite kills you can activate the first buoy in the water and fail that part of the easter egg, during this time parasites will spawn in rapidly and you can get your challenge done and go back to farming camos.

@@crh19365 ​​Just open the map up to the church, don't do any Easter egg steps at all, including the water valve step, don't do it. Upgrade your guns and pack a punch any time you need to, but doing any easter egg steps can mess up the mangler spawns. As long as you don't get vermin on round 11 you'll be fine. If you do, just complete the round, then save and quit until you load into round 11 and it's a regular round.

Yo, you can 100% do director mode on Terminus to get the parasites and round cap at level 10. If you prestige, you don’t reset to energy mine either…you keep whatever you had (I had aether shroud at level 1). I have a save file on Liberty Falls I keep but headed to Terminus to get the parasites and both the C9, Val and pretty sure the shotgun that need them are wall buys. Go further in the Easter egg to spawn constant manglers as long as you don’t get them in the trap. Way quicker than going through 30 rounds for 1 mangler. I did assault rifles and smgs gold then advanced and got opal at the trap round and swapped guns after 30 manglers. After they were done, started over and did round 11 until another couple sets were gold. Try it.

@ the step where you take the canister to one of the traps and it and you have to kill the mangler or abomination when they are in the trap…putting them in the canister. You do it twice. If you intentionally (Or unintentionally) screw it up and kill them outside the trap radius another will spawn. This is Liberty Falls.

I did it the legit way without glitches and it took me 150 hours. This directed mode is a hell of a lot faster. It will take about 2.5 hours per weapon to reach Nebula in this mode. (87 hours) Some weapons may take longer such as the LR and the GS45.

I think I ended up hitting Nebula at about 5 days played, did most of it in normal games then Directed mode for about half the Opals and the ARs and SMGs in Gold - once on Afterlife it literally took 5 minutes per gun which was nice, Nebula is probably taking about 30 minutes per gun, some are a bit quicker (like melee was super fast)

I found that terminus on directed to round 12 is actually better. Not as "easy" as liberty falls and the rooftop but if you progress in terminus to the point where it is the orb on the islands you get unlimited spawns as long as you don't progress the easter egg or leave the island. Most importantly, it also gives a good mix of regular zombies, parasites, and vermin to get those special challenges done. Best part is if you leave the island and come back it will reset to a normal round 12 with a mangler spawning like 95% of the time.

I still think liberty falls is the best though because the rooftop is flat and easy to farm headshots. Also, when you want to switch to a new weapon in the same game the mystery box locations are closer on a smaller map like liberty. Mystery box moves around alot more of a distance on terminus. I think efficiency wise round 15 on liberty is most efficient for pure headshots but for sanity purposes i switch between the 2

Great tips, especially doing gold and opal simultaneously. I've been doing this as well. A little PSA, if you like Terminus better, this same Directed Mode strat for gold and opal, works there on wave 12. Use the exact same advice he says here, save and quit if it's a parasite round.

Chosing to skip launchers over the 9MM pistol or GS45 or Explosive sniper is crazy they are by far the easiest thing to get gold. On the cigma I went from 0 kills to 2000 and finishing gold in 1 game by round 38.

Yeah it's the HE-1 that is more of a pain, and if you want to skip 2 of the snipers or pistols you still have to get them to gold because you need all of them within those categories to gold in order to unlock opal. So if you wanted to skip the gs45s or explosive sniper you still need all the headshots. Since there's only two launchers you can just skip the whole category

There's way too many variables to test it legitamently. If you don't have all your research done for example that will effect your xp gains too

RE: Elemental Pop..... Take the first two elemental pop ammo mods, which cause the ammo mod on your gun to be the only mod activated as well as causing zombies to be weaker to elemental damage. Now put napalm, dead wire, or cryo on your gun and you will only activate those mods. Depending on what your ammo mods do, you may need to choose a certain mod to reduce the amount of zombies being killed by the mod and not your headshots, but regardless, elemental will detract from the overall critical kill grind so keep that in mind.

As much as I agree with this leveling style, I highly disagree with buying through the Liberty Falls bowling lanes. Personally, I'm a huge Stan that at least one route has to be closed in a Zombies map. The route that I think needs to be closed on Liberty Falls is the front of the bowling alley and the top of the stairs at PHD flopper. This forces exfil in the street outside of Liberty Lanes and the bank, and with the front of the lanes closed you are able to deal with zombie trains easier in the street. I've been popping 2XP tokens and then playing standard solo Liberty Falls up to round 11 and then exfilling. Manglers only spawn if you gear up before 11 a with 2-plate, pack-a-punching your gun, and preferably pulling at least one blue gobblegum. If you don't buy the two plate or have gobble gums by the time you activate exfil, manglers will not spawn. So if you just want to fight zombies, make sure you purchase the two plate during exfil. Otherwise you need to get extra geared by the end of round 10 so that when you activate exfil you will have 1-2 manglers at least. Alternatively you can go to round 16 for exfil, though you'll probably have abominations to deal with.

If you take my advice regarding the bowling lanes..... Buy towards the comic book shop, use the bonus points above the air conditioner to open the comic book shop, get Quick Revive, buy up to the front of the bank and run trains until you have enough to buy the bank and Jug, then focus on opening the top of the street, church, and packing your gun. At round 10, Head through the bank and pay to open up the ice cream shop while heading to finish the round at start. Call in exfil at 11 and rush through ice cream shop and bank to the exfil site in the street. This nets me roughly 250 eliminations and about 200 critical kills on average. If I gear up before starting the exfil, I can get manglers to spawn on that round as well.

Hey, wanted you to know that if you get the vermin round on 11, you can also build the jet gun during that round and raise the cap to 12. From there, you can play round 12 endlessly and get a mangler once per round. I would imagine that this also gives you slightly more zombies per round. I did this for abour 3 hours last night 😅
