Kansas is not only extremely talented. Unlike last season, Kansas is also very Deep. Unlike last season, Kansas also has some pretty good 3 point shooters especially with Rylan Griffen and Zeke Mayo. Whether or not they should be preseason No. 1, I don’t know, BUT Kansas is definitely a major National Championship contender for 2025.

Anytime Kansas is anointed pre-season no 1 they disappoint. It's a curse, and I don't want that #1 spot.

Even with Karaban, UConn is not Top 5. Baylor is not even Top 15. Duke is FINALLY underrated. They are MUCH better WITHOUT Roach, Mitchell and Power and WITH Sion James, Maliq Brown and Mason Gillis. My top 3 are Houston, Kansas and Duke.

Uconn doesn't have to be top 5 to be the favorite come March. Haven't you been paying attention? IF Karaban comes back Uconn is loaded, young but loaded. You want to give Hurley a loaded young roster at your own risk.

I don't get Dauster's point about Duke needing more role guys to come in - we did really well bringing in Maliq Brown, Mason Gillis, and now Sion James along with Proctor, Foster and a really good incoming class. I think the team is looking pretty complete

His comment reflects what Geno Auriemma said years ago. Geno said when his coaching staff is evaluating potential players they are not focusing on players that are big scorers and not team oriented. Why, he continues to say we have high school All Americans at every position.
