I use Gyarados + Articuno + Vaporeon and it works really well, I can leaf out Articuno for Gyarados and use Vaporeon to switch energies. I prefer Articuno to Drugg as I can use it to attack if I want and it has more HP, obviously it goes down for 2 but since my main aim is to get Gyarados in which is also 2, I dont think this is a big deal.

The new exegg with exeggutor ex, you can put in many decks because need only basic energy to attack, on this reason, we called the engine now, „migrant-exeggutor“!

Great breakdown of meta developments from this past weekend. Exeggutor Ex has risen significantly because it takes a great MU over Pika and Aggro Fighting. I'd still hesitate to rank S simply because it's yet to win a big tournament. Zard/Arcanine and Pika/Zeb have real results. This next weekend will be the time for Exeggutor to prove itself. Here's my list: S - Mewtwo/Gard, Gyara/Gren These decks have secured their place as the best decks with consistent strong finishes and tournament wins. A - Pika/Zeb, Zard/Arc, Arc/Mew Exeggutor Ex Pika has fallen off but still remains a contender with the popularity of Gyarados meanwhile Zard/Arc continuously gets slept on (low popularity) and only improves as grass decks take more of a meta share. Exeggutor Ex has something to prove but good MUs into aggro and Pika solidify it's A tier placement. B - Aero/FF, Aero/Prime, Arc/Mew, Starmie/Articuno Aggro Fighting decks continue to place well. In fact, an Aero/Prime placed 2nd at 300+ tournament on Monday. Arc/Mew is strong but has less upside than the Zard/Arc list. Articuno/Starmie is sleeper always good with Misty sabotaging games and many decks unable to deal with Starmie Ex early. C - Melmetal/Mew, Misc Fighting decks, Misc Greninja decks, Golem, Blaine, Pidgeot/Weezing, Gengar Ex/Mew Ex, Misc Exeggutor Ex decks These decks are redundant and worse versions of other decks but still have potential to place well with some bracket luck. D - Scoli/Weezing, Machamp Ex, Dragonite/Drudd These decks are bad. Even Scol/Weezing I'd prefer to play Pidgeot/Weezing. Dragonite better than people think with Drudd but frankly there are far better and more consistent setup sweepers. I'd be really surprised to see any of these decks place well. Machamp Ex decks are worse than Golem but still has benefit of playing Hitmonlee and Marshadow so it can take some surprising results.

The S tier decks are very strong, but I find it pretty boring to play. Any variant of Dragonite and some Greninja Decks are my favorite. They’re so fun to play

Celebi is one support away from absolutely dominating the meta. I would say the same for Pikachu as well. Can you imagine Mewtwo without slab in this format?

Celebi already has Serperior, Exeggutor and Sabrina. Pikachu is the the one that could be game breaking. Like, we only fill the Pikachu deck with pokemons that are not even suppoused to leave the bench. Zapdos is versitile by having 2 attacks and 1 retreat cost, but 130 hp and 100 average damage on a 3 energy attack is not great for an EX. And Raichu is an all-in that burns ALL YOUR ENERGY for a damage that can't even take a mewtwo down Imagine if we had Elektabuzz EX (so we could use Surge) with some strong attack instead of Zapdos, some 40 damage or draw 1 card pokemon instead of Dedenne or an EX version of Raichu with more potential to end the game after Pikachu is knocked out. This would be just game breaking

Its better now because of Mythical Slab and Mew EX - but I dont know if there's a real reason to play Gengar over the other top 10-15 decks in the current meta. I may make a video on it soon though!!!

Everyone's saying Gyrados EX is the best deck, but I agree with this list. Mewtwo's consistency is unmatched, imho. Then again, this list didn't put Scolipede in S TIER, so obviously it's TRASH.

Farfetch is so much better with normal Aerodactyl just in case you need to send their stage 2 pokemon or other strong pokemon back to deck when in pinch instead of Tauros which you cannot oneshot except Pikachu ex

Are there any advanced searching options in Pocket like in PoGo? I’d like to search for things like, “all basic pokemon that are water or colorless with hp of 80+ and attack value of 30+” i.e. “stage:basic+HP>79+type:water,colorless+attack>29”

I’m not sure how in depth the filters go in game - but there are Som external websites that have the full cards lists!!! Try googling it and see if that’s any better 🙌

I’m not sure you realize how much the meta changes from week to week 😅 especially in the beginning weeks of the format. The landscape is very different than it was a week or two ago - so I want to keep everything up to date with what the best decks to play are 😁 even if the deck lists don’t change (which they do) - there common matchups change because the popularity of all the decks change!

@ “meta changes” without any actual in app changes are just people late to the party. Telling people about a new niche deck in a video is whatever, be mu guest. But sharing that tournament play for a deck went from 26% to 29% is a whole lot of nothing and just perpetuates playing the same 4 decks to all of your viewers which muddies the games diversity and is overall bad for the game

I put over 10 different decks in A/S tier and talked in depth about each of them how their position is changing given the current landscape 😁 if you don’t enjoy the tier lists - there’s a lot of other videos on my channel you might like!
