Some things to note: The bullgryn kit allows you to use the grenede launcher as a webgun, and the ripper cannon can pass as a heavy bolter. The Necromunda Ogryns have the arc wielder, with shouldn't be too difficult to convert into a (heavy)flamer. Both the Taurox and the Deimos Rhino can be used in Ash Wates because both comply with the two hard points required for a large frame. Venators can't make use of the special fighters added by the expansion boxes, like Death maidens and Neoteks. However, in the case of Van Saar, the guy with the rad beamer can pass as a Leader/champion with rad cannon and servo harness, meaning you can give him a shield. Additionally, in Ash wastes you can give your leader and champions the grav cutter, so you can still use those models, making the box actually usable while adding Ogryns to the roster.

Thanks for the heads up on the Orgyn Boxes. I'm not much a 40K player, so that info is really helpful. That Van Saar combo for Venators sounds terrifying as well!

@@CommanderCheapSkate Just checked the models for Navy Breachers, the guy with the chainfist can be played as a Rogue Doc, and the Demoman as an ammojack. Unfortunately the Endurant needs to be played as cawdor, as there are no shields outside cawdor and palanites.

Looked at the combat patrol for AdMec, it looks great for a Venator gang. Rangers/Vanguards would make a great team, especially if you give them the Van Saar Legacy (roleplayed to fit the mechanicus), this way you can play the galvanic rifles as lasguns, radium carbines as autoguns, phosphor pistol as a flame pistol, plasma caliver as a plasma gun, arc rifle as a rad gun, and the arquebus as a long rifle/long las. Ash Wastes allows mounts for your gang, which means you get from the box three cyberhorses and five gliders, for a total of 8 "mounted" characters, eliminating the need for a vehicle. Mechanicus as Venators also makes sense, as they have a presence in Necromunda, and the planet still has a lot of archeotec to discover.

The ratlings with lasguns seem just fantastic to me. If they aim, they will hit on 2+ within 18”, and reroll ones. For 35 points! Sure, they’ll die easy but you got to hit them first. And you can get 5 of them for 175pts. I don’t they’re op because of their fragility, but I love having such a specialist ganger option.
