So I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I want to get my first ant colony. I am looking to get them from Tar Heel Ants. I keep my large studio apartment at 75 degrees pretty much the entire time, even when I am not in my apartment. I also keep my apartment at 65 degrees when I sleep. I live in a very dry area. Any advice on which ant species I should get being that I am a beginner and keep my home at these temperatures?

@@AntsFlagstaff Nice! I was wondering if you could tell me what you use for the Acros' Setup? And if you could sell completed nests?

@@Sipotioanimal so I won't be selling nests. I will hopefully be partering up with some people who do sell though. I will have to recommend you to www.arthropodantics.com/ if you are looking for some leafcutter nests for "mainly" Acromyrmex versicolor.
